『 YN POV 』 • ― March 31st, 2020ゞ ───────── ❨ Airplane ❩
ㅤOn board a plane now, just a night flight coming from Tokyo going back to our hometown in Kagoshima. Since our parents had some money to splurge over, we'd thought to spend it on a trip to Tokyo and Kyoto both.
ㅤOn my left, Yuki with the aisle seat. On the row beside us are our parents, peacefully drifting off into space.
ㅤ“A girl confessed.” I said. ㅤYuki looked over, surprised at me. ㅤ“Is it the same one last year?” ㅤ“No…” ㅤ“Well look at you! You’re getting girls now!” ㅤYuki looked at me proudly, a smile etched on her face. ㅤ“So what do you wanna ask me? I have all the stuff you need when it comes to relationships.” Yuki said. ㅤ“I—Uh…, kinda just accepted it without thinking it through…” ㅤ“You what?!” ㅤYuki’s smile dropped, turning into one that was rather disappointed. ㅤ“Hear me out—” ㅤ“Mister Yokoyama, that is not how you should treat a confession!” ㅤ“Then how should I?” I said in a lower tone, trying to get Yuki not to throw me off the plane.
ㅤYuki stayed quiet, possibly recollecting her thoughts as she looked me back straight in the eyes.
ㅤ“Are you attracted to her?” She starts. ㅤ“No…?” ㅤ“I’m throwing you off the plane.” ㅤ“But she is pretty!” I said as Yuki softened up. ㅤ“Have you two done anything?” She asks. ㅤ“Not yet… That’s why I wanted to ask you…” I said as Yuki then slowly had a smile growing on her face. ㅤYuki-anee is back! ㅤ“Alright then, how about this, are you two close?” ㅤ“Not yet…” ㅤ“Then here's what you gotta do. You have to be upfront, confident, and take initiative. It’s normal for guys to be more active in the relationship.” ㅤ“But isn’t that tiring…” ㅤ“You think a relationship is all just lovey-dovey?” ㅤ“Well…—” ㅤ“That’s beside the point. What I want you now to do is be confident. Handle things with expertise even if you don't know it.” ㅤ“And if I can’t?” ㅤ“Why’d you enter a relationship you aren’t even bothering to save?”
