While Juviel was inspecting the carbonized sword in his hand, he suddenly received a series of system notifications.

[You have accepted the Imaginary Tree's Mythical Quest, Dynasty Of The Nihility: Device IX.

Quest Content: Undo all of the Banner Of Nihility's seals. Rewards unknown. Penalties unknown.

The Equilibrium and Their Emanators have become hostile to you.

You have received the Great Sinner Title.

Equilibrium Levels will be handled by me so you can be at ease.]

As soon as the system notifications ended, Juviel's Status Panel popped out and he saw the colour of his name in the Status Panel instantly go from white to black. On top of that, his ‘ID’ was now surrounded by dark fog, an indicator of his identity as a Great Sinner.

Feeling a bit confused about what this was about, he asked the System about it. Furthermore, what was up with this Imaginary Tree and Device IX?

[Well..

Beings who commit murder all day long could, at most, become a Sinner, of course, being an Emanator of Destruction makes one an exception of this as its their duty so they can legally commit massacres.

Even the sin of murdering an Emanator Of a a Path would only turn one into a Sinner and cause one to be hunted by the followers of said Path.

In comparison, beings who became Great Sinners would not only be hunted by the followers of all Paths, but even Emanators of other Paths would be tempted to join in on the hunt.

This was because anyone who managed to capture a Great Sinner could turn the latter in to the IPC for a piece of Legendary Rank Equipment or Weapon that had high compatibility with them. Their way of grading stuff is different but overall the meaning has been conveyed.

To make matters worse, once beings became a Great Sinner, they could never get rid of the title. It was a soul-bound title, and it would follow them even if they were to reincarnate.

Everybody will notice that you are a Great Sinner if I don't take action, so I'll be increasing the daily Salvation Points consumed.

Furthermore the Equilibrium has increased Their effort into finding you so the consumption of Salvation Points has increased as well.

The Emanators of the Equilibrium has joined in.

So the total daily consumption of Salvation Points has went from 9 to 10,000 per day.

Knowledge relating to both the Imaginary Tree and Device IX is locked.]

His eyes almost fell out of his sockets when he saw that ridiculous number. This was extortion, right? However, what could he do? Nothing! He was helpless! He knew that the System wouldn't tell him about these two terms anyways as they seemed quite important so he was just trying his luck.

At his current strength, he would be slaughtered like a chicken the moment he steps out of this place, no, there's a chance some random Emanator might just tear through space and appear in front of him.

So it was best to let the System handle it. Gritting his teeth at how helpless he was, he put the sword into his inventory and decided to take a rest.

But the moment he put the sword into his inventory, he heard a sound he didn't want to hear at this moment.

[WARNING!

Conditions have been met! The Mysterious Chest is opening! Be careful!]

“Seriously?”

That was the only thought he had before he got engulfed in white light and vanished. Fu Hua was stunned. What just happened?

She walked over to where he had been and tried to figure it out but couldn't. So she could only nervously walk around whilst trying to feel Juviel's whereabouts through the connection.

Thankfully the connection was still there so it meant that he was alive, which put her at ease. Hence she could only sit down and meditate, after all, she wasn't a spatial expert. Thankfully she had something that kept her busy, which was to solidify her foundation. A few seconds ago she felt her strength suddenly increasing as well as her stamina.

Meanwhile in somewhere unknown,

Juviel was looking at a blue humanoid shadow that felt eerily familiar to him. As if he had seen it before.

“Hello, Aron. The condition to open that chest was to become the wielder of the Banner Of Nihility.

Of course, regardless of your choice, I WILL make you become it's wielder.

Anyways, I'll give you an item. Don't mention it to the Salvation System, don't tell her at all.

She can't find it either. She can't listen in either. So yes, don't tell anyone about this item.”

After speaking to that point, the blue shadow raised its right hand and passed over a.. Silver stone? No, this.. This was a beating heart! Just that it was silver! Wait, did it just refer to me by my actual name!? Wait wait! It knows of the Salvation System too!?

He didn't want to catch it, but he couldn't move. Alas, the heart stopped right infront of his stomach and started levitating, it floated upwards until it reached his left chest.

The heart then plunged right into his chest, he expected some pain but surprisingly it just phased through and besides a weird tingling feeling in his chest, there wasn't anything else.

“What did you do?”

Turns out he didn't have a choice again, he had to accept it. This helplessness he felt, he didn't like it. Especially when that being mentioned that there was no choice for him regarding the Banner Of Nihility. He didn't like how these random beings have the authority to determine his actions.

The blue shadow chuckled and waved it's hand,

“Not much, you'll know when the time comes. The time difference here is quite big, so 7 days should have passed by in that place.”

After saying so, the blue shadow waved it's hand and Juviel felt his surroundings distorting. It seems he was about to return. But right before he returned, he heard the blue shadow telling him something.

“Don't borrow MANTIS genes, it will kill them.”
