The golden tiara

Once a person lived in my heart

I really thought that it was the best start

She was at the top of my pin board chart

But when everything changed it hit like a dart

She said that I had something that lacked

She said that we should change our tracks

But the only word she said was "flashbacks"

Seeing you now, in front of my eyes

I know you'll never know about the rivers I've cried

That exact guilt continues to eat me alive

Time slipped so quick, in the blink of an eye

We went from "soul sisters" to "enemies for life"

We laughed, we chatted, we did the whole dance

But seeing you so happy makes me think I won't get another chance .
