Chapter 20

Jaida's pov:

"what's up?" i asked my mum as we stood in the lobby,
"firstly i wanted to apologise for how i treated you yesterday" she said as i nodded slightly,
"it's okay i guess" i replied as i looked at the floor,

"and i also wanted to ask that you and Gigi have a conversation and sort your differences out" she said making me roll my eyes,
"right well we both know that's not gonna happen, we never got on when we first met, and we're never gonna get on now i don't understand why you can't accept that" i replied as i crossed my arms and she sighed,
"please Jaida" she said making me sigh,
"i wouldn't even know where to start" i replied,

"i know she's into your friend, Lando is it? maybe you could set them up?" she said as the thought of Gigi and Lando together made jealously flood
my veins,
"no." i replied bluntly,
"why not? actually it looks like they're getting on nicely now" she said as he looked in making me look in to see Gigi sat next to him as he sat there awkwardly trying to find a way out making me giggle,
"mum he wants to run away" i replied as she tutted,

"i'm gonna go and save him" i said before walking in making Lando's eyes instantly snap to me,

"Lan come help me with something" i said to him as he instantly got up and took my hand in his speed walking out,

"i didn't know how to get away" he said making me giggle,
"i know don't worry" i replied as we headed out the hotel over to the paddock,

"my mum just asked me to set you guys up" i said with a scoff making him look at me disgusted,
"oh you don't want her?" i asked making him raise an eyebrow,
"nope, not my type" he replied,
"oh? what's your type then?" i asked as we walked into the McLaren lounge that was empty,

"strawberry blonde hair, ocean blue eyes, name beginning with Jaida and ending with Charlize" he replied making me blush,
"and cute rosey cheeks" he added as he cupped my cheek with one of his hands making me look up at him,

"i wonder who that is" i whispered making him smirk,
"i wonder" he replied before leaning in connecting our lips,

i wrapped my arms round his neck as he moved his hands to my waist,

once we pulled apart for air we rested our foreheads together as i played with his curls,

"woah woah-" we heard someone say from the door making us snap our heads in their direction to see Oscar and Lily stood there with grins on their faces,

we let go of each other and stepped apart feeling the awkwardness Oscar and Lily had bought in with them,

"i knew you guys would get together" Lily said,
"we're not together it's-" i replied as i paused looking at Lando for help,
"complicated" he added as i nodded,

"well it looks to me that you guys are both hiding from your feelings" Oscar replied as me and Lando both shook our heads,
"yeah yeah" he said.

George's pov:

we sat there eating breakfast before we saw Lando and Jaida speed walking out the canteen hand in hand making Lewis, Charles, Carlos, Alexandra and Carmen all look at me,

"don't look at me i'm just as clueless as you lot" i said,
"i think they're as clueless as we are too" Lewis replied making us laugh,
"i'm with you on that one" Carlos said as Gigi walked over,

"hey George how are you?" she asked as i forced a smile,
"i'm okay" i replied as she nodded,
"sorry just a random question, is Lando single?" she asked as i shrugged,
"that's a question to ask his best friend Max" i replied as i gestured towards Max, Ria and Pietra as they walked out the canteen,
