Chapter 21

Jaida's pov:

Once the clock hit 6 there was a knock at my door,

i went and opened it revealing Lando stood there in some joggers and a hoodie, his curls were messy making him look even cuter than usual,

"let me just grab a hoodie" i said before running to my bag and grabbing my white fox hoodie which matched my joggers,

"look at us matching again on another exploration" he said as i slid my hand into his and began walking towards the lift,
"i know, you need to stop copying me honestly" i replied making him raise an eyebrow at me before pressing the button to the lift.

Once it opened we stepped in and pressed the lobby button.

The doors soon opened and we were met with Gigi making me roll my eyes as she flicked her eyes down to our hands,
"where you off to?" she asked with a fake smile,
"Timbuktu" i sarcastically replied before walking out and past her,

"you know you should probably spend some time with your beloved mum" she said making me stop and turn to look at her,
"what?" i asked as she just pressed the lift button making the doors shut.

"What is wrong with that girl?" i asked as we walked out,
"jealousy" he replied as i nodded.

"Right where we going then?" i asked as he looked at me,
"you say this like i know the area" he replied,
"don't you come here every year?" i asked as he opened his mouth slightly as if he was going to say something but then closed it again as he knew i was right.

"exactly" i said before dragging him along by his hand,
"wait i do know this one place actually" he replied as i nodded,
"lead the way" i said making him smile before he began walking.

"look at the moon" i said as we walked hand in hand,
"not a cloud in sight, maybe you were finally right about the 0% chance of rain" he replied making me giggle,
"just not the sunny part" he added making me playfully roll my eyes,
"i'm never wrong meaning there is sun" i said making him look at me with a raised eyebrow,
"i can't see any" he replied,
"maybe your not looking in the right places" i said,
"maybe" he replied.

After a 20 minute walk we arrived to this beautiful peaceful park,

"come on let's stargaze!" i said excitedly as i dragged him down onto the grass with me making him giggle as we laid back.

We laid side by side with our hands intertwined as we looked at the moon and stars.

"The night sky will always be my favourite" i said as he sat up and smiled at me,

"be my girlfriend" he said making my eyes go wide as i looked at him caught off guard,
"what-" i replied,
"you've been on my mind since the day i met you, your strawberry blonde hair, bright blue eyes, that contagious laugh" he said with a giggle as my eyes began watering,
"your the most beautiful soul and when you left for all those months i felt like something was missing in my heart. I guess what im trying to say is i never want that to happen again, so Jaida will you be my girlfriend?" he asked making me sit up and smile instantly as tears fought their way out.

I then leant in connecting our lips,
"so is that a yes?" he mumbled against my lips,
"course it is" i replied making him smile as he looked into my eyes,
"your right it is sunny" he said as making me smile before he leant in connecting our lips again.

"Wait did Max know?" i asked as he looked at me confused,
"did Max know you were gonna do this? Is that why he said to Gigi you weren't single?" i added as he smiled and nodded,

"i wanted his opinion before i asked, wasn't sure you'd say yes" he said as i smoothed his cheek with my thumb,
"what made you think that?" i asked,
"i don't know just because of everything with George you know" he replied.
