The reason I chose Alex Masker, to be honest, was because I was inspired by a Korean comic called Love in the Mask but made my own American version twist. The story amazed me, especially how the main heroine had to deal with her past ordeal and she had to go through the hardship in order to survive. I chose Alex because her real name is Alexendria but in a guise of a boy, and Masker by her emotionless expression since she's forced to become a bodyguard in order for her to live on. Here's a little prologue that connects the character I created.
I'm like a puppet who has no freedom.
I only get controlled by others with my strings attached and as long I'm stuck there's not a moment to escape from many reaching hands.
Even if there's a slight chance, fear would overtake my mind and heart and there won't be a path to guide me.
