ALDEN's POV
Six Months.
Six months na kami ni Maine sa showbiz.
Six months of a one-of-a-kind-whirlwind-of-emotions-roller-coaster-ride.
I've been looking at her instagram post for about an hour now and I'm smiling like an idiot. Hindi ko lubos maisip na dadating kami sa ganito. Kasi, for 5 long, hard years I've been waiting for the climax of my life. And to me, it's Maine.
Tama siya, Sweet Serendipity nga lahat. Kasi, hindi naman namin sinadya. Siguro nga perfect timing lang ni Lord lahat. At sa totoo lang, this is the happiest accident of my life.
"Tama na yan!" Je said in Lola Tinidora's voice
I quickly swiped my phone.
We are in SPS rehearsals.
"Baka matunaw yan sa katititig mo." he teased
"Lululuh.." I replied, almost speechless
"May tanong ako sayo Alden, kayo na ba?"
I was hesitant to answer.
"Uy hindi pa ha. Ikaw talaga Je!"
"PA?! HINDI PA?! So may panliligaw na ngang nagaganap." He teased
"Uy hindi ah! Wala kong sinabi." I replied
"Naku, Alden. Basta humanda ka sa Laglagan bukas."
"Oyyyy, wag ako, Je!"
I'm dead.

After rehearsals, I quickly got my things and hurried to my condo. I was surprised to receive a text from Maine. It was late, and I thought she might already be sleeping.
From Maine:
Hi Rj. How was rehearsals? I saw Rizza's post pala in ig, graduating na pala siya. Please send her my congratulations. You must be one proud kuya! 😁
I smiled. How thoughtful.
To Maine:
As usual, tiring. But I thought of you, kaya nawala pagod ko 😂 And yes, I will tell her. Thank you!
Hindi ko na natiis. I called her.
"Hello? Meng?"
"Hi Rj." she whisphered
"Sorry. Am I bothering you?"
"No, not really. I'm still wide awake. I just have to whispher cause Matti's sleeping. Wait ha, labas lang ako."
"Okay."
After 1 minute.
"Hello again, Rj. By the way, Happy 6th monthsary!"
"Happy 6th monthsary din Meng!"
"Uy, alam mo kanina, pansin ko lang, ang aggressive mo."
"Hindi naman ah."
"Anong hindi? Napansin kaya nila Tatay!"
"Grabe siya. Lagot na ako."
"Ikaw kasi eh. Lakas mong maka-galawang breezy. Kandungin ba naman ako? Even the "almost kiss" part. Parang nakakahalata na yung mga tao."
