Takes places in The Fall of Five near middle of book.

Nine: You too, Nurse Marina. Your boyfriend's gonna need you.
Marina: He's not my boyfriend!
Eight: Um, hey. A little hurt here.
Marina: What?
Nine: See?
Eight: Never mind.
Nine: What he means, Marina, is that he IS your boyfriend.
Marina: What are you talking about? Who decided this?
Eight: I did.
Marina: When?
Eight: Hey, if you're not fine with it, then never mind.
Marina: I am fine with it! I mean-
Nine: *snicker*
Marina: YOU'RE behind all this, aren't you?
Nine: No! I mean, maybe a little.
Eight: So . . . I'm gonna go . . .
Nine: You TOLD me you wouldn't puss out!
Eight: Why did you say that right in front of her?! Dude!
Nine: What? I didn't give away the fact that you're really obsessed with her and-
Eight: DUDE!!!
Marina: YES!
Nine & Eight: What?
Marina: I'll be your girlfriend!
