"Perfect" I said to myself and left my room, I go downstairs to see they have already cut the cake without me. I pout

"You were taking your time and it was calling us. We had to" Natalie said dramatically, I playfully roll my eyes before pushing her almost off her chair. She screams and pushes me making me giggle before grabbing a plate with a cake piece. I sit down and start eating even though I should eat something before this
"Don't you look pretty for a certain someone" Kay said and wiggled her eyebrows, I raise an eyebrow
"Really? I thought the outfit was cute. Not really impressing anyone" I said and shrugged
"Hmmm.. Yea whatever you say" Jenny said and I pouted before changing subject
"What's the plan then?" I asked
"We eat then chill. The guys plus Meghan will be here in a bit. The rest of the day is just chilling out here unless you wanna go anywhere" Freya said
"Staying home sounds like a good choice. Don't really wanna do anything big today" I said just then Natalie's eyes lit up
"We need to go clubbing tonight! With the guys and Meghan. Everyone is legal age. Come on, for Tami's birthday. It'll be fun" Natalie said

"Actually, this came in the post today" Freya says before handing me a letter, I place my fork down before opening the letter to find my ID card
"You never told us you applied for one" Jenny said
"I did it online a few months back and completely forgot" I said and took the card off the paper, I was officially an adult. This is crazy. Just then the doorbell rings, I look up
"I'll get it" I said and placed the letter and card down before getting up. I go open the door to find Simon and Meghan
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY" They both shout and I smile before hugging Meghan then Simon
"Thank you" I said before pulling away from the hug and letting them in
"Where are the others?" I asked
"Coming later. I wanted to get here early but had no ride so Simon offered to drive me since he had nothing to do and now we are here" Meghan said and I giggled before leading them to the kitchen
"By the way, cute outfit and where are your glasses?" Meghan said/asked
"Thanks and didn't feel like wearing them today so contact lenses it was" I said and the girls look up
