She is simply impossible
She's petite, but her thoughts are so large
You'd never know, but there's galaxies inside her mind
Her nose is just barely too long and her eyes just a little too big for her small face
She's easy to overlook, but when she speaks
Her voice fills the room, demanding attention
And she belongs among the stars
Her hair is as golden and big as her smile
And her brown eyes as big as the sun
Cherry lips speak words full of meaning
Quiet at first, but once you hear her voice
You could listen to her forever
She doesn't realize the impact she has
She views the world differently, you know?
Finds beauty in even the smallest of things
Everything just means a bit more to her
Every memory, every word, every moment
She cherishes it all
While I'm cherishing her
Freckles decorate her face like constellations
And the birthmark on her neck plays peek-a-boo with her collar
Soft hands drum a beat on her knee
Even softer hair falls in front of her face
And you just want to touch her
Just to feel her skin beneath your hand
Because she looks so soft and small and nothing less than beautiful
And you know that her mind is rugged and infinite and so much more beautiful
Nobody could ever deny her
She is so thumpingly herself at all times
She is unforgivingly and unfalteringly her
She's not easy to see, but once you do
You'll never want to look away
Every second there's something new to see:
How she absentmindedly traces her collarbone
Or bites the tip of her thumb
And you can't help but think, how did I not see her before?
She dresses in muted colors,
But her personality is anything but mute
It's amazing how beautiful she looks
Simply running her fingers through her hair
Because you notice the way her fingers curl around the ends
And how perfectly her hair frames her face
Then suddenly you're looking at how stunning she is
And how you used to think blue eyes were pretty
But then your eyes met her brown
Now you can't look away
And brown eyes have never seemed so beautiful
