I woke up the next morning, my mind was full of thoughts about yesterday.

Why couldn't I get that off my mind?

I made up my mind no more boys.

I slowly went downstairs and made myself my morning coffee.

No more boys, no more boys. Uhhhhh!!!

I hate when I stress about stupid stuff.

I need to relax.

I need to take a nice walk...yeah a walk.

I wonder if Paul is home?

Maybe he could come with me.

Wait no, I am mad at him, plus he would probably just remind me of what I am trying to forget.

I sipped my coffee slowly and flipped on the radio.

I sat there rubbing my head while "Don't be cruel " by Elvis played.

Okay, that song wasn't helping.

I flipped off the radio now sitting alone in udder silence.

Suddenly there was a knock at the door.

Great, the last thing I needed was either Paul or George around.

I slowly went to answer the door while praying it wasn't them.

I opened the door, please don't be George, please don't be Paul.

To my surprise and luck, it was only Ringo.

"Hey there Ringo what are you doing here?"

"Oh is it a bad time?" I realized I probably didn't sound like I wanted anybody around.

"Oh, I'm sorry Rings, I didn't mean to sound so uninviting. No, it's a perfect time."

He smiled as he stepped into the house.

I shut the door and sat beside him on the sofa.

"So stranger what brings you to this part of town."

I poured us some tea while waiting for his response.

"Well, I noticed yesterday during rehearsal you weren't your usual cheeky, and bubbly self."

I stirred his tea and handed it to him.

"Thank you, love. So I decided I would come and check and see if everything was okay."

I looked at Ringo, he seemed quite concerned.

"Is everything okay?"

I sighed and took a sip of my tea.

"No, not really."

"What's wrong, still mad at Paulie?" Ringo hinted.

I shrugged my shoulders.

"A little, but I would just rather not talk about it."

Ringo puckered his lip, which made me laugh.

"You sure? It might make you feel better."

I shook my head.

"No, it would just make me think about it more."

Ringo twiddled his thumbs.

"Claire, you know me and the lads are here for you. You can tell us anything. I won't speak a word of this to the lads if you don't want me to. Just please tell me what's upsetting you so I can help."

He was so caring. I am so lucky to have such good friends.

Finally, I gave in.

"Well there is this lad that I think I like, but I can't decide.

I know the last time I let myself fall for a boy I got hurt.

So I don't know if I should take that chance or not."

He nodded his head understandingly.

"What is this lad like?"

"Well...wait you're not gonna ask me his name?"

Ringo shook his head with a solemn face.

"After you handled it with Paul yesterday I was afraid of what you would do if you were asked a second time."

I laughed.

"Well, he is very kind, loyal, considerate, listens to me, and to make the decision worse I have known him for quite some time."

There was a moment of silence.

"Sound like to me you have nothing to worry about, if this chap is exactly how you describe, then he will treat you the same way.''

"Thanks, Ringo."

I gave him a big hug.

For the rest of the day, Ringo and I hung out.

We talked, and watched television, just had a good time.

I felt better after that and believed that tomorrow was going to be a good day!
