I Need You ❤

I sat up and breathed heavily.

My mind's thoughts swirled around in my head as I tried to comprehend what my heart was telling me.

I had chosen George.

George.

I laughed as I spun around the room.

Now that I knew who my heart was  choosing I realized that.......I dont love
Ringo like that anymore.

I felt for him love.

No doubt in my mind, but I loved him as a friend.

I spun around, but then stopped violently as I couldnt believe who was standing before my very eyes.

"Ringo."

He stepped forward and sat himself down on the bench, looking around cautiously.

"Ringo, what are you doing here?

How did you find me?"

He smiled lightly.

"I always knew you and George went here.

I know you did that night after the ball."

I stared, unable to speak.

"I also know that, he is the one for you."

My throat began to ache, and my eyes burned.

"Ringo....I have somethin-"

Suddenly I felt a body of warmth surround me.

He hugged me tight.

"I know, I know."

I looked up at Ringo very puzzled.

"Rings how could you possibly know who I chose?"

He laughed.

"Oh, love we all knew you were going to choose George.

I can't look at George without seeing you standing right by his side."

I smiled as I imagined the thought.

"Claire, it just makes too much sense for you and George not to be together.

You were meant to be, and I'm not one bit upset.

I am so happy for you I could just marry you two myself."

I laughed, as I looked into Ringo's gentle eyes.

He was taking it so easy, and its because he loved me, and I know how too.

Ringo wrapped me into one last hug.

"Now go tell George the good news."

I kissed Ringo on the cheek and smiled so big my face almost froze that way!

"Thank you! Thank you Ringo!"

I ran through the willow tree branches to George's house.

Ringo laughed and called out behind me.

"No problem love!"

I made it to George's house extactic to tell him the fantastic news!

I took in a deep breath as I knocked on George's door.

As the door opened my heart began to pound out of my chest.

"Ello love, what brings you here?"

I took George's hand and smiled.

"Follow me."

George looked at me with curiosity as we began to walk to our place.

As we arrived George began to laugh.

"Love, if you wanted to come here you could have just phoned."

I laughed.

"Yes, I could have but I have to tell you something very serious."

We both pushed the long curtain like branches out of the way, and sat together on the bench.

He looked at me his eyes filled with all kinds of emotions.

"Claire, what is it you wanted to talk about?"

I smiled.

"George, I have been thinking a lot lately.

I sat here for I dont know how many hours thinking of who my one love would be."

I breathed deeply. "The night at the ball I was gazing up at the stars.

When the moonlight would strike a star just right it looked as if it would make that star just a bit brighter.

Thats the way I decided how my heart would know.

Something would spark my heart just right, and then I would know.

George smiled and I took both of his hands in mine.

"George, it happened. Today the spark hit me.....and it was with you.

My heart wants you to be mine.

I want you to be the man I will love forever. George......its you."

George began to laugh as he picked me up and spun me around.

"Oh Claire I want you to be mine to hold and to cherish forever."

He pressed our noses together and he smiled.

I giggled as his fangs showed.

Slowly I felt George plant his lips on mine.

He kissed me in a way he had never kissed me before.

As we parted we stared deeply into each others eyes.

"I love you."

George kissed me gently and I couldn't help but feel the butterflies come again.

This was exactly what I wanted. I wanted George and he wanted me.

The sun was starting to rise and me and George watched it as it came up slowly.

"Here comes the sun."

I  smiled at me as George  smiled back at me.

"And little darling it feels like years since its been here."

Me and George sat together as the sun came up.

The whole time we sat there I couldnt help but hear music faintly playing and it sounded just like this.
