Well, here I go I'm taking a chance.

George and I will officially become a thing tonight.

Last night after my and Paul's walk he asked if I would come on a date.

Of course I said yes!

I am going through my closet looking for the perfect outfit.

I had to try on thirty different outfits before I could decide.

Typical girl.

I finally decided on my black bell-bottoms and my white long sleeve shirt.

I walked down the stairs and decided to have a cup of tea until George got here.

Am I making the right decision?

Is this smart of me to go out with George?

I mean I just vowed to myself yesterday no more boys.

Then on that same day, I told George I loved him and agreed to go on a date.
Uhhh, what's wrong with me George is the sweetest, kindest most considerate boy on earth.

Any girl would be happy to have him.

Plus I have known George for a very long time, what could go wrong?.....

Suddenly there was a knock on the door.

Hmmm, its only noon, George said he would pick me up around twelve-thirty.

I slowly answered the door, while once again having second thoughts.

"Oh, Ringo what a surprise I was expecting G- someone."

He looked very tired and not his usual happy self.

"Well I came to ask if you would like to come over and hang out today, I've been a bit bored lately and could use the company."

"Ringo you know I would love to, but I promised George I would spend the day with him."

He hung his head.

"Oh, but we should be back around six. I could have him drop me off at your place after we get back."

He looked up slightly.

"Yeah, that sounds good, well see you then."

He waved back as he walked away.

"Goodbye, see you tonight!''

I closed the door and went back to my tea.

Why was Ringo acting so weird?

He has never seemed so down.

Maybe he is coming down with something.

Again there was a knock on the door.

I glanced up at the clock, twelve-thirty.

George was right on time as usual.

That's one thing I loved about George, he was never late for anything.

I opened the door and there was standing George with a bouquet of cream roses, my favorite kind.

He looked me up and down, then smiled.

"You look absolutely beautiful." I blushed hard.

"Thank you, George."

There was a minute or two of awkward silence.

"I brought you these roses."

I smiled as I took them.

I held them up to my nose.

They smelled like heaven.

"So, where are we going?"

"That is a surprise."

He smiled as he wrapped his arms around me.

We started down the street, I had no idea where we were going.

"I have planned something very special for us."

He smiled and his fangs showed.

I always thought my heart might melt when his fangs showed.

It was something that caught my eye about him.

Soon we showed up to a dirt road I had never seen before.

"Come this way."

He took my hand and led me to the side of the road where there were two large willow trees.

They hung so low it was almost as if they were curtains.

"Ready? Oh, wait close your eyes."

I closed my eyes and George took hold of both my hands, pulling me through the branches.

I felt them brush my shoulders as I walked through the secret opening.

"Okay, now."

Slowly I lifted my eyelids.

I gasped at the beautiful sight that lay before eyes.

Flowers covered the entire space.

Another willow tree stood in the middle of the space and a lovely swing hung on one of the branches.

A rope holding up the swing had a green vine wrapped around it.

"This is my favorite place to go and just escape reality."

I smiled and sat down on the swing.

"I do that a lot, but I really don't have a place as beautiful and as peaceful as this."

George came and sat next to me.

" Well now you do, whenever you want you just come and stay as long as you want. This could be our place, we can talk and just sit here if you like."

He laid his hand on my cheek.

"That sounds wonderful."

He smiled and we pressed our noses together.

George walked over the bench and pulled out a record player, which I had no idea was there.

He put the record on and came to me and we began to dance.

'Do you want to know a secret' filled the air as George and I slowly rocked back and forth.

I laid my head on his chest.

I could hear his heartbeat and then I knew I was truly in love with George Harrison.
