Maybe it says
falling in love
because it literally feels
like falling.

It's exciting
you feel like never before
so free
and fresh
- like flying.

Clouds
soft like candy cotton
catch you
gently
before you'd crash
into the ground.

Your beloved
waits for you
on one of these clouds
- cloud 9.

It seems to be perfect
the perfect paradise.

But sometimes
you only imagine
the clouds
the crush
and the paradise
waiting for you.

Sometimes
none of this
really exists.

But you fall in love
anyway
you fall and fall
and fall
till you have a hard crash

because all the clouds
that should have catched you
were only existent in your head

like this real love
that was just in your imagination
but nowhere else.
