Clarissa wanted to scream at them all for their complete lack of intelligence, for their sheer stupidity that had begun the unraveling that she had predicted. She knew that she needed to grieve for her parents' deaths and she was glad that Brett had opened up his home to Delcan in his time of need. She was also secretly thankful for her friends giving her the space that she needed to grieve but she was more furious at them than anything. Their lack of communication the day prior had left the tall chimera out of the loop completely, only to have been filled in by Theo as she got to the McCall household. She was angry with them for not calling her the moment that they had discovered that Liam and Hayden had been taken by the Dread Doctors. The teenagers had gone missing the night before after a failed attempt to make sure that the new chimera stayed safe and away from their treacherous clutches. She almost scoffed as Theo filled her in on what he knew from their plan, a plan that she knew wouldn't have worked in the first place.

She was also furious at Mason Hewitt for dragging innocent Corey Bryant into the alpha werewolf's house but she knew from the moment the sophomore looked at her, he knew that she had known about Corey's chimera status. She didn't want the pack to know about Corey yet, didn't want him to be sitting upstairs reading the book that would ruin his life with Lydia and Mason. She had taken the vow to protect him and it felt as if she was losing control of the people she loved.

Theo, Stiles, Malia, and Clarissa stood around the living room of the McCall household quietly, not expecting the sound of the door to be opened quickly as three out of the four listened in on the trio upstairs. Clarissa could hear Corey's heartbeat, listening to make sure the slow thrum stayed in her hearing range to make sure that he was okay. Clarissa's eyes locked on the panicked ones of Scott McCall and she knew from the wild look in them that she would not like the outcome of this day.

"Hey, is Kira okay?" Stiles questioned his best friend quickly, turning to look at him as he walks briskly through the living room and ignoring them.

They all turn to look at him in confusion as he passed them quickly, the determination wafting from his body in mass waves. Theo and Clarissa shared a brief look before watching him head to the stairs. "Scott?"

"I don't like this." Clarissa mumbled, her eyes watching warily as Scott begins to walk up the stairs. Clarissa can hear the soft sound of Corey speaking to Lydia and Mason and her heart drops, realizing who the young man is going to talk to with the wild look in his eyes. "Scott. Don't you dare."

Clarissa ignores the others as she took off after the alpha up the stairs, feeling the uncomfortable feeling that she was going to be too late. She can hear Lydia protest Scott's actions but she's also too late to stop the tan teenager. Her heart hammered wildly in her chest as she's frozen in the doorway, eyes locked on Scott's claws that dug deeply into the back of Corey's neck. Anger builds up inside of her, humming wildly through her body as she lowly growls towards the alpha werewolf. Mason's eyes meet her fluorescent yellow ones as she moved into the room to snatch Scott away from her younger friend.

"Clary don't." Lydia demanded, gripping onto the fuming teenager who began to wildly thrash around in her arms as Corey's face screws up in pain. "Theo!"

Clarissa knew the emotion that flooded her body, anger was not an emotion that that she was unfamiliar with but this type of anger was hellish as she glared at the back of Scott's neck. She though silently though that if she interrupted Scott's prying through Corey's mind, she could kill her friend and while it would be Scott who had begun it: Clarissa would be at fault for his demise. The sound of the younger boy gasping once more caused her to thrash against Lydia's arms again, angrily snapping as she felt a second set of arms move around her waist and pulling her into them. She could tell that it had been Theo from his scent but her rationality had gone out the window, wanting nothing more than to rip Scott's throat apart as he searched through Corey's mind. "Theo, let me go so that I can murder him."
