we have two more chapters to go and then we will be on to season six. would you rather me keep going in this book and make part three and four or do a completely separate book?

also tissues might be needed for this? it hurts a little bit

Her feet were starting to grow numb from the walk that they had been on for what seemed like hours. It had grown dark in the woods that created the Beacon Hills Preserve and Clarissa eyed the moon that was glowing brightly above their heads warily. She had seen the werewolves on a full moon before and nothing good ever came from them being in the middle of the forest when that moon was shining brightly over their heads.

It had been a tense walk that set Clarissa's nerves on edge. Liam had stuck to her side like glue and Scott had put himself in between them and Theo for the vast majority of the trek. If they weren't in the middle of the situation they were in, Clarissa would find it almost sweet that Scott still had the ability to care about what happened to her even though she wasn't quite sure why he still would.

"Four teenagers walking through the woods on the night of a full moon." Clarissa grumbled slightly as her foot snapped a branch that was on the forest floor. "This is how every bad horror movie starts."

"You're not helping." Liam whispered harshly towards the girl as he sniffed the air one more time.

"I'm trying to distract myself from the fact that the Dread Doctors could be sitting here watching our every move." Clarissa mumbled underneath her breath. She was scared of the beings that had turned her into a chimera and while she tried to hide it underneath false bravado, she was slowly starting to let it slip that they sent terror racing down her spine. "They could have already turned Mason into the beast and Brett is out here somewhere too. What happens if the beast gets to him before we get to Mason?"

"Where is he?" Scott interrupted their hushed conversation, eyes glancing back to stare at the worried look that had formed in her eyes. It was slightly concerning for him to see the girl so rattled as she had rarely showed that side of her since she came back from the dead.

"I thought we were looking for him." Theo declared smugly and Clarissa wondered when he had turned so cold and uncaring to the world around them. She had barely noticed it through her own brief madness and now that she could finally see clearly, she felt the need to run as far away from him as she could.

"You know who I'm talking about." Scott seemed as fed up with the teenager as she did and it was beginning to show in the way that his steps sped up on the path in front of them.

"Deucalion?" Theo questioned stiffly and Clarissa met his eyes as he glanced back at her quickly. The older werewolf was someone that Clarissa had been wary of before, but she still held a sliver of respect for him even though he had caused so much pain and suffering.

"You shouldn't trust him." Scott seemed surprised by the nonchalant expression on Theo's face and Clarissa shrugged her shoulders as her eyes met Liam's questioning glance. She didn't understand why Scott was so focused on the man but there had to be a reason behind it.

"I definitely don't trust him." Clarissa interjected quietly, thoughts running through her brain at the thought of the older man. Something felt off to her about the older werewolf staying with them even though he could have left at a moments notice. It wasn't like Deucalion to take orders from someone and definitely not from someone like Theo. "He made Ethan and Aiden's life a living hell."
