UNEXPECTED

Chapter-8

Today I was little nervous as I was going to take seminar and that too during morning session.

"Bye guys! See you at lunch." Said Nino going on her way.

"Bye" waved Inba and went in opposite direction.

Now it was only me and Riya. I was busy going through my short notes.

"Cool down Rose. You are going to do well." Said Riya looking concerned.

"Yup! Thanks but I am kinda afraid."

"Whatever! but today morning session is gonna be interesting." Riya smirked as we entered our class.

"Come in Rose." said our Professor.

"Okay.. Come on students today we are going to have classes in the seminar hall and behave yourselves, your seniors will also be present as we are going to cover a basic topic." announced our professor.

My heart skipped a beat when I heard what he said. I was already beyond scared and now to add into it my seniors will also be present which means I have to take seminar in front of Allwyn. Great! A nice way to begin a day! I just wish I could become invisible for one day!

"OK students. Assemble there in 5minutes." We heard our professor shout and now all started moving out from the class.

Riya was standing beside me laughing! What? Seriously?? she found this funny?

"Rose. I saw your profile and came to know that you are good at presentations. So I don't think you would mind if I combined this class with your seniors right?" He asked.
I simply nodded.

"Great. I hope you prepared well." He said and with that he left.

"Riya. Please! Just kill me." I said looking at her.

"Rose! For gods sake have some confidence. You are going to do well." She said patting my shoulder.

"Just don't concentrate on that bitch!" She said looking towards her.

Oh great now how could I forget that Rihana will be there!

We were on our way to seminar hall but to my surprise Allwyn was nowhere to be seen. At first I felt sad but thinking about seminar his absence made me feel relieved. Finally we reached seminar hall.

"All the best Rose." Riya said hugging me and then took her place in first row.

I was standing beside the professor. Everyone came inside, Ajish,Gaurav all were there. Rihana and her two minions were the last one to come. Rahul was still on leave. Allwyn was not present here. Maybe he is absent I thought.

"Okay Rose. Introduce yourself and carry on with the topic." Professor said with a smile and then he sat near Riya.

Total seminar hall fell silent as I started introducing myself.

"Good morning everyone..." I started off at first I was nervous but at the end of introduction I gained my confidence. Riya was continually raising her thumbs up in order to encourage me. I was about to start with the topic when the most unexpected person entered in at an unexpected time.

No one questioned him. He simply came in and sat in the last row near a curly haired girl. Professor motioned me to start.

I then started with the topic. After nearly 20 minutes slowly everyone actively started asking me questions. It was nice to see that they were paying attention to what I explained. I didn't even look in the direction where Allwyn was sitting. Finally my seminar came to an end with all of them clapping for me.
