WHAT FEELS LIKE hours being tied to a pole is most likely what hell is. "They could be a little gentler," Katara spoke quietly even though we still had
Blindfolds on.

Before any of us could speak a voice interrupts, "you four have some explaining to do."

"And if you don't answer all our questions, we're throwing you back in the water with the unagi!" A female voice adds. She sounds very young. Maybe Katara and I's age or Sokka's.

"Show yourselves, cowards!" Sokka yells. I find a way to roll my eyes under the blindfold. Does he always have to act so dramatic?

In a blink of an eye, all of our blindfolds are ripped off due to Sokka's command revealing 5 young girls dressed in green with white and red paint around their eyes. They look quite beautiful. They're carrying fans in their waistband which I find myself wondering about. Why would they need fans?

Sokka looks a tad bit star-struck, drooling over the teenage girls.

So I simply do the talking.

"Who are you? And what do you want with us?" I ask. But still a little timid.

"Yeah! And where are the men that ambushed us?" Sokka added once he snapped out of his daze.

"Oh my god Sokka you can be so dense sometimes. They ambushed us." I hang my head low while talking, due to the embarrassment of my best friend.

"Wait! A bunch of girls ambushed us? There's no way these girls could take me- I mean us down." Sokka scoffs.

I really want to punch him in the face but it looks like one of the warriors is about to do it for me.

"A bunch of girls huh?" Her voice is low and threatening now, "the unagi's gonna eat well tonight." She sneers.

"No don't hurt him! He didn't mean it!" Katara pleaded.

"Yeah. Sokka can just be an idiot sometimes." I add. I added a chuckle on the end, not really meaning too.

"It's my fault. I'm sorry we came here. I just wanted to ride the elephant koi." Aang apologetically stated.

The man points his finger accusingly at us, "How do we know you're not Fire Nation spies? Kyoshi stayed out of the war so far. And we intend to keep it that way!"

"We're kids? How the-" I start with sass clearly laced in my voice but I'm interrupted by Aang.

Probably for the best.

"This island is named for Kyoshi? Saki and I know Kyoshi!" Aang beams.

"We do?" I immediately reply.

"Ha! How could you possibly know Kyoshi? Avatar Kyoshi was born here 400 years ago. She's been dead for centuries."

"We know her because we're the avatars."
