✧・゚: *✧・゚:* *:・゚✧*:・゚✧ "THIS SHOULD BRING YOUR FEVER DOWN," Katara puts a cold rag on Sokka's warm four head. I keep my distance from the siblings since Sokka is so sick.

"You know what I love about Appa?" Sokka slurs, "his sense of humor!" Katara humors Sokka's random thoughts since he's so feverish and sick.

Aang walks over to the two, "hows Sokka doing?"

"Not so good. That storm we had a few days ago really did a number on him." Sokka shivers in his sleeping bag while Katara talks to Aang.

"I couldn't find any ginger roots for the tea, but there's a herbalist over that mountain. We can probably find a cure for Sokka over there." Finally, I butt in on the conversation.

"Do you see the condition he's in? He can't travel."

Suddenly, Katara goes into a coughing fit.

"Oh, not you too." Aang whines. Katara waves off Aang's concern, "relax it's just a little cough-" she's interrupted by another coughing fit.

"That's how Sokka started out yesterday! Now look at him, he thinks he's an earthbender." I look over to see Sokka swinging at nothing.

"Take that you rock." He mumbles.

"Aye aye aye." I groan, moving over to the ledge of the stone building we're staying in.

"I'm going to go get Sokka and Katara some medicine. You stay here and keep an eye on them." Aang bosses before taking off. I nod at his command even though he's far gone.

-

I grabbed the two sick siblings some water before sitting down where I was before. I take a deep breath and decide to meditate.

I close my eyes and find the calmest part of my body. My muscles relax and my eyes grow heavy.

I feel a change in gravity. Almost like I'm in another world. The feeling becomes too strong to ignore. I open my eyes to see I'm not in the mortal world anymore. I'm in the spirit world.

"Uhh... hello?" I call out, hoping that would catch someone or something's attention. The sun beams in this world. A waterfall rests not too far from where I stand. Shiny, slippery rocks sit around me, guarding me against seeing beyond this little cave.

I try to jump but I quickly remember I can't bend in the spirit world. My senses suddenly feel like another presence is here. I begin to become jumpy and paranoid.

"Is anyone here?" Tiny pebbles fall into the little pond the waterfall flows into. I follow the path it took in the air to come face to face with a spirit. It's perched on the higher rocks, it's green eyes glaring down at me. It spreads it's black long wings and swoops down in front of me. I jump at it's landing.

"...hi..." I squeak. The creature tilts it's head at my fear. "Don't be afraid, young Avatar." The spirits mouth doesn't move, I just hear its voice.

"My name is Ju-long." It's voice echoes in my ears. I take in the glory of the spirit. It's dark scales reflect in the sunlight. A blue streak of light runs down it's back.

I'm left in shock before I speak, "Wow... I've never met a spirit like you before..." I breathe in awe as the creature grows closer.

The spirit chuckles, "now you have." It turns around and begins to climb the slippery rocks.

"I would fly us out of here, but I'm afraid I'm not as youthful as I used to be. My old bones are no good condition to fly." It explains. I smile and follow the dragon-like creature out of the cave.

I'm revealed to a wondrous world. Creatures, spirits, and things I couldn't even begin to describe fill my sight.

"Wow... Ju-long, this is breathtaking."

"I know. I sit and watch the sky dance every day." The old spirit exhales a cloud of blue smoke. It sparkles full of energy.

Something from afar is running towards us. Ju-long doesn't seem to notice. I squint harder to get a better look.

"Hei-bai!" I yell in excitement. The panda spirit runs into me, knocking me to the ground to lick my face.

"Ahaha! I missed you too!" I say as Hei-bai continues to greet me.

"I see the spirits have taken a liking to you," Ju-long notes. Hei-Bai finally gives me enough space to stand up.

The old dragon starts walking again. Out of curiosity, I follow, Hei-bai accompanies me.

-

"This has always been my favorite part of the spirit world." The wise creature smiles as we stop at a cliff, overlooking the valley.

My lips fall agape at the sight. Ju-long sits down to take in the view. Even Hei-Bai makes himself comfortable. I, however, keep standing. I can see farther if I do.

"I can sense conflict within you, Avatar Saki." Ju-long surprises me.

I don't answer him. It closes its green eyes and continues talking, "It seems as if you're battling yourself. Why is that?"

My arms cross, "I'm just lost I guess." Ju-long peeps a look at me, "You're not lost, Saki. I found you."

"What do you mean?"

"Someone who is lost is gone. Either physically or spiritually." It explains.

"If you were lost, you wouldn't have been able to help dear Hei-bai find his way. If you were lost, you wouldn't even be able to connect to the spirit world." Ju-long sighs, "I know you have a big destiny. But there's no doubt in my mind that you won't fulfill it."

A soft grin writes itself on my features.

"Now, next you time you come here, would you mind bringing that other Avatar along with you. I would love to meet him." Ju-long pokes fun. I softly giggle at its joke, "I'm sure Aang would be more than happy to do that."

I say goodbye to Hei-bai before transporting myself back into the mortal world.

-

I hear Aang's tired groggy voice, "here. Suck on these. They'll make you feel better." He places something into Katara and Sokka's mouth.

A frown decorates Aang's face, "Hey... are you alright?" I ask.

"Yes." He simply replies.

Sokka mumbles through what looks like a frozen frog in his mouth, "Aang! Did you make any new friends on your trip?"

Aang looks pained before answering, "no. I don't think I did." This strikes more worry to overcome me.

"Hey, are you sure you're alright?"

"Yes, Saki. I'm just tired." Within seconds Aang is fast asleep. Out of the blew, Katara and Sokka spit out the now thawed out frogs that are hopping away. I chuckle at their dramatic reaction.

They really are related.

For anyone who doesn't know, the title of this chapter translates to 'dragon'.
