"Home sweet home." Jaxon says sarcastically as he opens the door to the rundown house he seems to be living in. As I walk through I see what's supposed to be a living room, with a TV, and literally nothing else. There's a small kitchen, and a hallway that I'm guessing leads to a bed and bathroom.

"Uh, how long have you been living here?"

He scratched his head, still in the doorway of the house, watching me take it all in. "Um, about 3 months. I know it's not much but-"

"I'll stop you right there. You know I just came from flipping juvie right? As long as you have a nice bed, imma crash."

He snorted. "All right then." He led me down the small hallway and into his room, where he had a comfortable looking bed, a dresser, and another TV. He had a blanket and pillow on the floor, I'm assuming for him. I flop down on the bed, facedown, and sleep.

I woke up kind of early, around 6 I'm guessing. I had fallen asleep on my stomach with my shoes still on, but now I'm tucked under the covers of the bed, without my shoes. I smiled affectionately, my dear brother definitely missed me. I crawl out of the covers and look down at the ground. Jaxon is sleeping on his stomach, with one arm supporting his head and the other clutching his pillow. I snorted. Someone's a cuddled. He jerked up and almost crashed into me.

        "Whoa buddy, watch yourself!"

"Sorry." He grumbled, rubbing the sleep from his eyes. "Oh by the way, I know you literally just got back but you're planning on starting your senior year right?"

I didn't hesitate. "Of course."

"Ok good cause I already applied you."

"Of course you did. Night." I flopped back on the bed and fell asleep again.

"Ughhhhhhhhhh." It was 6 in the morning and you would think I would've gotten up without a problem since I spent the weekend basically just sleeping. I didn't.

"Wake up." I heard Jaxon yell at me from the kitchen. I groaned. I hated mornings.

I dragged myself up off the bed and staggered into the master bath. I looked at myself in the mirror and jerked back. Jesus I look hideous in the mornings. Period.

30 minutes later I hopped out of the shower and looked at the clothes I bought myself on Saturday, well Jaxon bought, cause ya girl broke. Never go shopping with a guy. Well, never go shopping with Jaxon, I should tell myself. We got to the mall, he looked around at the entrance, found a seat where all the old men go to sit when their wives come to shop, and fell asleep. I had to grab his wallet from his front pocket, and go into civilization by myself. It's so weird seeing so many people after years of only seeing a bunch of girls who are actual little demons.

I picked a black tight crop top, ripped jeans, and air forces. I put my hair in two dutch braids, and pulled out my baby hairs. I looked at myself in the mirror. My raven black hair looked pretty good in their braids, but what drew more attention to my face was my eyes. Me and my brother had the same freakishly pale grey eyes, and tan skin. My skin, however, had a natural golden glow about it, and my brother just hangs outside too much. Doing what, who knows. I had a very straight nose, with a little curve at the tip, and freckles covering it. I used to be self-conscious of my freckles whenever I was younger, but I've learned to embrace them. I headed to the kitchen when I heard my brother cussing something out.

"Damn it!" I walked in right as I saw him yell that to the pan that had burned eggs on it.

"Jesus Jaxon, haven't you already learned you can't cook?"

"Oh and you can?"

I snorted. "We had to learn the basics of life in juvie you know."

He grumbled and headed to the living room after throwing away the eggs. I looked into a cabinet and saw pop-tarts, pulled those out and tossed them in the toaster.

"Here." Jaxon said behind me. I turned around and scrambled to catch the helmet he threw at me. I frowned, not knowing what to use it for, but then I squealed.

"You didn't!" I ran outside and saw my baby. A 2020 model of the motorcycle I've been wanting since I was a little kid.

"No wayyyy!!" I turned around and smashed into Jaxon in a hug, almost toppling him over.

He chuckled. "Anything for you Scar. Besides, I'm not gonna be your chauffeur."

I looked back at my baby. It was all black and really low. I already pictured myself skerting (a/n i have no idea how to spell it lol) past slow as fuck drivers.

"Thank you thank you thank you thank you thank youuu!!! I love you brother!!" I continued saying over and over as I kept walking around my motorcycle. Jaxon crowned all of a sudden.

"Wait, do you even have a drivers license?"

I nodded. "Yeah, they figured I might as well be able to take a drivers test when I was in there because I was on good behavior."

He nodded, satisfied with my answer.

"When does school start, by the way?"

"Um, I'm pretty sure at 8."

"Ok imma head out."

"You haven't eaten anything."

"I'm gonna pass by a coffee shop or something."

He started forward and gave me a hug then gave me the keys to the bike.

"Be safe, try not to get in too much trouble. Now get out of here, love you." He said, kissing me on the cheek. I missed him, a lot.

"Love you too." I hopped on the bike, nearly fell off the bike, then was on my way.
