Mommy and Daddy told her to not touch the wires. If she did, they would hurt her.

She couldn't help herself. She touched the wires. They did hurt. But not that much. They saw her. They were mad at her.
They hit her.
They yelled at her.
They punished her.
They hurt her. They dragged her to the wires and shoved her into them. They hurt her more. She begged them to help her.
She cried.
She wailed.
But they didn't come. They left her alone. She didn't touch the wires again. She listened. But they still hurt her.
Mommy and Daddy told her not to touch the wires.
They said it would hurt.
And they did.
