He could not swim.

He went anyways. He went to the edge and looked over. There was nothing special.

He reached down to touch the water and slipped. He splashed into the cold, icy water. It took him under fast.

He could not get out. There was a blanket of ice over his head. He needed air.

He could not swim.

He saw a hand reach down and heard feet pounding. But the air was ripped from him. He fell down, into the water.

He was not allowed near the water.

But he went anyways.
