Today was officially the day of the crowning ceremony, you haven't been able to see Taehyung yet since the preparations for the ceremony that'll take place soon has been so hectic
You put down one of the trays of snack items before heading back inside to go get more, suddenly you were pulled into a room and you gasped as you saw Taehyung looking down at you
Taehyung: There you are bub
You blushed as you looked at him up and down taking in how handsome he looks right now
Jungkook: W-Woah... You look great hyung
He chuckled softly as he kissed you before moving away as Byul ran up and hugged you
Byul: Papa appa is going to be a king today!
You giggled and nodded as you patted his head and crouched down
Jungkook: Yes, so let's behave well and be quiet during the ceremony okay? Todays a really important day
Byul nodded and smiled brightly, you smiled down at him before looking back up at Taehyung
Jungkook: I'm not even the one getting crowned, why am I so nervous?
Byul walked off to go continue watching something on his iPad while Taehyung walked up to you and held your hand while smiling, you looked down at your hands and smiled seeing your matching rings
Taehyung: I'm gonna make sure to show them off today
You hit his chest gently as you widened your eyes
Jungkook: You're playing with fire Kim Taehyung... and you're gonna get burned especially since we got our marriage certified without talking to your parents first...
He shrugged as he opened his arms and you smiled as you stepped closer and hugged him which he returned
Taehyung: So what if I get burned, I'll have you and Byul patching me up won't I?
You bit back a smile as you nodded giggling softly
Jungkook: Always... but seriously- once your parent find out we're dead hyung
Taehyung hummed softly as he caressed your cheek gently
Taehyung: Well we haven't had the ceremony yet at least
You sighed as you rolled your eyes smiling
Suddenly the music started playing outside signaling that the ceremony was starting, you fixed his tie and hair before kissing his cheek
Jungkook: Good luck hyung, I'll be watching from afar
He nodded and you and Byul walked out hand in hand as you headed over to a spot in the back watching over where the official crowning would be held.
Soon the king and queen walked out followed by Taehyung and the music died down as they went through the oath and the traditions for the crowning. You smiled as Taehyung kneeled down and his dad officially crowned him by putting on the crown for him as well as handing him the oath that's passed down from king to king.
Everyone cheered and congratulated him as Taehyung stood back up and smiled bowing lightly as well as waving clearly showing the ring on his ring finger, you and Taehyung made eye contact and you both couldn't help but smile.
Once everyone went back to enjoying the occasion and the drinks and snack provided as well as dancing Taehyung approached you and Byul, you bit back a smile as you and Byul bowed to him
Jungkook: Your majesty
Byul: Appa majesty
You giggled and ruffled Byuls hair as you shook your head
Jungkook: Byul that's not what I told you to say silly
Taehyung chuckled as he crouched down and patted Byuls head while bowing a little to him
Taehyung: Prince Byul
He giggled and hugged him which he returned making your heart flutter at the sight, seeing the two sweetly interact never gets old after all.
Jungkook: Byul who don't you go around and play, I know some of your friends are here today as well! Just be careful
Byul nodded before running off happily already knowing where they were since he had just seen them, Taehyung stood up and smiled as he looked down at you
Taehyung: Did you see me showing off the ring?
You blushed and nodded
Jungkook: Yes... There's probably already 50 articles about the newly crowned kings secret wife
He hummed before quickly kissing you making you gasp and look around shyly
Taehyung: Well I don't think it's such a secret about who my lover is
You smiled but widened your eyes slightly as you looked over and bowed deeply seeing the now ex-king and queen approaching the two of you
Jungkook: Your majesty...
She smiled warmly as she patted you shoulder before looking over at Taehyung
Queen: Can I borrow Jungkook for a little, talk to dad while you wait yeah?
Taehyung frowned in suspicion
Taehyung: What for?
She smiled and shook her head
Queen: Don't worry it's not what you think
You smiled as you nodded to Taehyung before following her unsure as to where she's taking you and what she needs you for
