You hummed softly as you made your way downstairs and into the kitchen, you smiled softly as the kitchen staff greeted you when they saw you
Staff: Oh your majesty!
You giggled softly as you walked over rolling up your sleeves and taking out the cake you had made earlier
Jungkook: You guys really don't need to call me by the formalities haha, now have you seen Jin hyung? He promised to help me decorate the cake I baked
Jin walked into the kitchen carrying a small box containing things for decorating the cake
Jin: I'm here dummy, more importantly should we do fondant or frosting?
You hummed softly as you tilted your head
Jungkook: They don't like fondant since it's too sweet so let's do frosting, but just not the sick-sweet kind!
Jin chuckled softly as he nodded
Jin: You'd think a 8 year old and a 10 year old would love sickeningly sweet stuff huh?
He clapped his hands excitedly as he suddenly remembered something
Jin: Oh actually I have this great chocolate frosting recipe that would be great for this!
You smiled brightly and nodded in approval as he started making the frosting meanwhile you prepared the strawberries, blueberries and raspberries as well as some mint leaves for decoration.
Once you and Jin finished frosting the cake you both carefully decorated the cake with the berries as well as putting in some candles.
You looked at the time and frowned
Jungkook: Is everything prepared on the terrace?
Jin nodded and patted your back
Jin: It is don't worry
Soon Taehyung rushed in as he smiled and nodded
Taehyung: They're home, hyung have them come out once they change out of their school uniforms
Jin smiled and nodded before you and Taehyung hurried out to the terrace, thankfully it was night time so keeping the lights off made the surprise not obvious.
Taehyung: Where's the lighter?
You handed it to him and he lit the candles before putting down the lighter, soon the door opened and you and Taehyung smiled as you saw Byul and Minjun look around in shock
Byul: Papa, appa whats this?
Minjun: Wait is it someones birthday today? Papa, appa you should've told us!
You and Taehyung chuckled as you brought them over
Jungkook: Make a wish and blow out the candles first, both of you
