These are just a couple things you probably didn't know about the beloved 1983 film "The Outsiders," it's actors and the making of the movie. These are some fun facts about the movie that was interesting to me and I thought I'd share with you. Enjoy...
DURING MATT DILLON (DALLAS WINSTON)'S DEATH SCENE WHEN DALLAS CALLS DARREL AT THE PAYPHONE, IF YOU LOOK CLOSE ENOUGH, YOU CAN NOTICE THAT THE WORD "JOHNNY" IS WRITTEN INSIDE THE PHONE BOX.
It took me a while to see this one, but I finally saw it. It's in the shadow of the phone box so it's a little hard to see, but I promise you, it's there. You can find that in cursive you can make out the letters "J" "O" "H" "N" "N" "Y" in the top right corner. I know for a fact that it wasn't there by accident, and it might have been put there by a crew member or a member of the cast. However, I think it's perfect for the scene because it almost shows that Johnny was the reason that Dally picked up the phone.
