These are just a couple things you probably didn't know about the beloved 1983 film "The Outsiders," it's actors and the making of the movie. These are some fun facts about the movie that was interesting to me and I thought I'd share with you. Enjoy...
WHEN FRANCIS CUT OUT ALMOST 23 MINUTES OF THIS BELOVED MOVIE, HE ALSO DECIDED TO CHANGE SOMETHING ELSE. YOU CAN TELL BETWEEN BOTH TYPES OF MOVIES, THE EXTENDED VERSION AND THE FINAL VERSION, THAT FRANCIS ALSO CHANGED THE SOUNDTRACK FOR THE FINAL MOVIE.
I'm gonna be 100% honest with you all, I kind of hated the soundtrack for the extended version (except, of course, for the diamond we call "Stay Gold"). It didn't really make sense for the scenes, for example, during the scene where Patrick Swayze (Darrel Curtis) hit Tommy Howell (Ponyboy Curtis), the music was really upbeat and fast, and it didn't make ANY sense.
