Memories

Here we are " connor said just as we arrived at the restaurant,  the lights were off and the sign read closed

"Connor they're closed " I say pointing to the closed sign,  then he pulled out his phone and started what I guess was texting,  when he was done he put his phone back into his pocket,  few seconds later a blonde girl turned on the lights in the restaurant and opened the door for us

"Connor,  babe it's been a long time, I missed you " she said and gave him a hug which he returned

"Yeah, I'm so sorry I haven't been frequent with my visits " he said and she bit her lip and eyed him like she wanted to eat him up,i looked at connor and apparently he had the same look on his face I couldn't control the suspicion I had

"So who is this chick? " she asked nodding to me

"This is one of my classmates tracy,  she legit has nothing to eat right now so could you prepare something good for her to eat " he said sweetly and she smiled

"Sure,  I'll be as fast as I can okay " she said and looked at me pitifully before walking into the kitchen ,  I couldn't help the growing hate I had for the blonde girl whose name I didn't know

"Let's sit down " connor said and directed us to a table, we sat down there in awkward silence,  and when I couldn't take it anymore I spoke up

"How do you know her? " I ask nodding towards the kitchen

"She was a friend of mine back at the orphanage " he said and smiled probably remembering the good times they had

"Is that all she was to you?,  a friend of yours from the orphanage? " I ask and he rose a brow in a questioning manner

"Are you jealous? " he asked

"No! " I said in reprimand

"Good " he said and went back to using his phone and I swear I felt like ripping my hair out of my head

"Here you go " the blonde girl said and placed a burger in front of me

"Uhmmmmm" I say and stare at the burger

"What's the matter hunny I didn't poison it " she said with a smile and I give her a stern look because that didn't even come to my mind

"I'm actually not allowed to eat meat" I say and they looked at me like I was crazy

"Tracy you didn't tell me your a vegetarian " connor said looking dumbfounded

"I'm not it's just  ..... .it's just complicated " I say frustrated

"Well that's the fastest food I can make this late,  I'm sorry but it seems like I can't help you " she said with a pout and stroked my hair

"It's okay " I say and gently remove her hand from my head

"Tracy are you sure?,  you seemed really hungry some minutes ago " connor asked with  concern in his voice

"Yeah I've been hungrier " I say and regret it when I realize how pathetic it sounded

"Awwwwwwn what a poor thing " the blonde girl said and started stroking my hair again

"Forget it, I'm going home " I say and get up

"I'm coming with you " connor said and I smile because I really didn't want to walk home alone this late at night

"Bye Trina " Connor said to the blondy,  so her names Trina?

"Bye bye baby " she said in a high pitched irritating voice

"It's because of ballet right? , that's why you can't eat burgers and stuff ?" connor asked and I nod "Honestly I'm surprised you still dance,  I thought you would have quit it a long time ago'' he said and looked at me
