Swara's POV-

" Shona....wake up now. We need to go for shopping today for the wedding. It's already 11 in the morning. Amrita and Preeti will be here in about half an hour." I heard mumma shake me.

" Mumma, all of you go and buy whatever is necessary, I am really very sleepy." I whined as I covered my head with the duvet.

" Shona, don't be child now. Get up beta." She said, getting the curtains off but I just didn't budge. Can she really not shop for me? I don't like it every much. It's so confusing!

" Swara, up now." Mumma addressed me again and this time, I had to get up because she called me Swara. Any further delaying her order will land me in trouble. I just sat, couldn't help pouting.

" To wake you up, only rudeness works na?" She asked, sarcastically and I rolled my eyes, how is she so sarcastic so early in the morning.

Then, I was forced inside the washroom and got ready. Six days had passed after Aryan's wedding and now, I was being pestered for mine!

Aditya, again has engrossed himself with work and mom and mumma had forced me to take complete off from the office for all the wedding preparations from today.

As I walked to the living room, mom and Preeti were already there. Mumma was talking to them.

" Here she is." Mom said as I went to them.

" Shona, let's go." Mom said as we all walked to the car. I had got my license just yesterday and was driving. Radhe kaka took an off.

It took us around half an hour to reach the bridal store.

" Okay Shona, so let us select things for you or else when we get out of the store, You'll only have lot's of which only end up just above your knees." Mumma taunted.

" Why am I even here? The brides are supposed to chill and not exhaust themselves!" I muttered to myself while nodding my head at them.

" By the way, what about Aditya's clothes?" I asked mom.

" Karan, your dad and your papa will take him somewhere later today. Day after tomorrow is your engagement, so you will need clothes." She answered.

" But mom, for engagement, the more important part to shop for are the rings." I said, raising an eyebrow.

" Don't you worry about it Shona, the rings are already purchased." Mumma replied.

" Then why didn't I see?" I asked her.

" That's because, in our family, the bride and the groom are not allowed to see the rings before the engagement." Preeti replied this time.

" And what about the size?" I asked again.

" Don't you worry about that. It'll fit you just perfect." Mom replied and I nodded.

Then all of us started looking for sarees and lehengas.

I was certainly bored after a point of time so I decided to text Aditya to annoy him, disturbing him at work.

I left three texts for him, but even after fifteen minutes, there was not a reply at one.

How dare he! Had it been me who hadn't responded to his texts, he would probably have traced me down!

" Shona.....Shona? Where are you lost?" Mumma asked, shaking me by the shoulder.
