Slowly I opened my eyes. Getting them adjusted to the light as the sunlight was blinding. Apparently, I did not close the curtains properly last night.

Last night.

Memories of my date with Olivia flooded through my mind, making me smile. I was in love like a teenage boy, feeling butterflies in my stomach. When I looked to my right the feeling was amplified by the sight in front of me.

A beautiful woman laying on her stomach with her back exposed as the covers had slid off her body. It was the woman I fell in love with. I could only hope that the feelings were mutual.

She was absolutely beautiful. The sun gave her a radiating glow. I wanted to devour her body again as I did last night, but she was still asleep and needed her rest.

After admiring her body I decided to get up and get a refreshing shower. While in the shower my mind wandered to my little girl. I hoped she had a good day with Nathan and Max. I didn't hear anything during the night, not a single text from Nathan. So I can only assume everything went well.

I was proud of Rose. It must have been difficult being away from me for so long.

I left the steaming shower in search of a towel. I was looking in the cabinets when I finally found one. I put it around my waist and made my way to the sink to shave my face and do my hair. I made a mental note to ask Stella to refill this bathroom with towels. She is probably washing them, but still, I don't like when I don't have enough towels in my bathroom.

When I was done in the bathroom I got dressed, making myself ready for a new day. After one final glance at Olivia, I left the bedroom and went in the direction of Rose her room.

First I looked in her big room, but when I could not find her there I went to the nursery. There she was curled up in her crib hugging her stuffies.

She needed more, I thought.

I made another mental note to go shopping for new ones with her, or maybe as a surprise. I don't know. I will see when the time fits.

Carefully I walked up to the little girl, who was still asleep enjoying the warmth and comfort of her bed. Sucking on her pacifier.

I caressed her cheek lightly. Rose stirred but stayed asleep. Again I caressed her cheek and whispered, "Little one, wake up. It's a new day."

"Daddy?" Rose slurred behind her pacifier. How cute she was. The little girl was the most adorable human being I have ever seen.

"Yes, it's me. Now come on my little sleeper, you need to wake up. Can you do that for Daddy?"

Rose whined and whined until her eyes finally opened. "There you are. I thought you would stay asleep all day."

"Daddy," Rose whined again. She held her little arms up, demanding me to pick her up. I chuckled.

"Come here my sleeping beauty." I picked her up and immediately she snuggled close to me. Hiding her face in the crook of my neck.

I bounced her up and down until she was fully awake.

Within thirty minutes I had her dressed and ready and took her with me to the kitchen. I saw that Nathan was already awake as well.

"Good morning."

"Morning," Greeted the broad man us back. "I hope you don't mind I started on making breakfast. I didn't think you would be awake already after last night's... activities," said Nathan with a smirk.
