Taehyung was a happy person, who just tried to keep his personality in check because he was trained to and paid for appearing put together. A stark contrast to how Jungkook had perceived him in the beginning - proud, polite and polished.
Jungkook found out the vibrant playful side to him, when they were both playing a videogame at the penthouse, on the large tv screen. Taehyung laughed, screamed profanities, pouted and threw a tantrum when he lost.
It was supremely endearing to the ravenette. Little did he know he was one of the only people to ever see Kim Taehyung let loose.
He found out Taehyung had a sweet tooth and had a lot of imported chocolates in his fridge.
"I'm glad I am naturally slim because there is no way I'm giving up my chocolates for a diet!" The model said, handing Jungkook a Lindt After Eight.
"You eat these chocolates and then ignore actual food. That's the reason you're skinny," Jungkook rolled his eyes.
Taehyung chuckled, throwing a sofa cushion at the younger.
"You know how bad I am at cooking. I can't eat sandwiches and eggs all the time now, can I? And takeout is boring. Besides, I can always come by to yours."
Jungkook grinned at the comfortable way Taehyung said that.
Jungkook wasn't intimidated by his wealth anymore. He started to accept it as a part of Taehyung, because it felt like the money was an accessory and it did not constitute Taehyung as a person at all.
Jungkook started to keep himself updated about Taehyung's activities and work. He would go around Seoul and find Taehyung's face on random cabs and on bustops, endorsing some perfume or watch or clothing.
He still didn't get how he had ended up being friends with a literal celebrity.
Taehyung began to accept Jungkook as a part of his daily life. He saw the younger almost everyday.
He told himself that it was only because he lived right downstairs, and not because of the unwavering comfort he felt looking into the doe eyes.
Even if he was back late from work, he would drop by even if it was just to say goodnight, to check on the younger.
Jimin and Yoongi came by sometimes to find them both just chilling with each other - Jungkook doing his work and Taehyung making phone calls or sending emails.
Taehyung was.... getting used to Jungkook.
It honestly terrified him, when he had the realisation this morning. He had a packed day today. After a shoot, he had a special invite to a couture show where he'd be meeting various designers and had three after parties to attend.
When his first thought was he should tell Jungkook to not wait for him, Taehyung stilled.
He brushed it down to their regular meets, trying to ignore his erratic heartbeat as the chauffeur drove him to the venue of the event.

Jungkook was cooking dinner.
The habit made him save a lot on takeout, considering he had to print his papers, get gas for his motorcycle and pay rent, while also trying to save up for his post grad.
