He towered over me, mere inches from me and he offered his hand. I refused and he pulled away

The name Sammy now was only a reminder that I was disowned by my "mother " and I didn't need that. This man seemed genuine and though it was hard to accept that maybe I was what Lily said, a fairy. I'd like to trust him and give this a chance.
