"Get up" I raised my head to see who the voice belonged to. It was one of the mermaid guards, Horrifying creatures, straight from a horror.
"I'm not hungry" I waved my arm to send him away but he didn't leave he opened my cell and grabbed my arm
"Funny I thought that he had forgotten about me" The guard didn't appreciate my humor. He dragged me along until we reached the throne room.
I was dismayed at the sight of the sea prince. He has changed not just his outfit, but his demeanor, his stride, and expression. This time I don't think he'll tear up at the sight of me
Prince POV
I saw her, though in rags and now fifthly, she was still beautiful. I can still recall the purity of our love, unsullied by the world's cynicism. But I remined myself that love has its seasons. Inevitable we reached our final season. I should move on for the sake of Anabel and this kingdom of mine. I should set my sights onto the future instead of reminiscing the past.
"how have you been?" I was surprised that she actually cared

"You don't look the same" she remarked

"well that makes the both of us"
"Anabel is gone isn't she?"

"I'll wait for her , just as I waited for you to change ways for all those years" I saw her frown deepen at my words .In that moment we both acknowledge the past
"It can never be the same between us?" she asked
