I was doing my best to focus on the lesson on fairy fruit but how do you focus when so many eyes were looking at you.

I had made an effort not to draw attention to myself, I tied my hair and wore a plain white maxi dress. Maybe in this world that might not be a plain outfit

The lecture ended and I did my best to run away like a proper lady , honestly I felt ridiculous because I realized I had to go back to the class for my one on one lessons. I stopped along the way to take a breath and I felt a tap on my shoulder. I knew who it was so I didn't bother to turn rather I tried to run but he grabbed my wrist

"please let me go" I whimpered " not until we have a little dance" he whispered. He clapped his hands and music from an unknown source started playing. I felt a force take over my body , I had began to lose control of my limbs. I felt light like I was a weightless shadow, and my head started to ache. I could see the pleasure in his eyes and his wicked smile

He took my hand and we started doing the waltz , I was surprised that I could keep in tune with the beat. Normally I am an awful dancer. It wasn't long before I felt drained but I couldn't stop , this force wasn't letting me

I was near to tears and he kept twirling me around and dipping me. Then a wave of anxiety flooded over me when my classmates came closer and watched us in aw

To them we probably looked like a romantic couple not a girl being totured to dance. "please stop , I beg of you" he smiled and then he stopped and pulled me so close that the tip of our noses touched. He tightened his grip around my waist , digging his claws into my skin and rubbed his cold face on my check and whispered to my eye "I'll stop if you tell me my real name" then he laughed in my ear

I felt the colour drain from my face "I don't know your name" I stuttered. He looked like he was on cloud nine "at least I still have my name and don't belong to you" with that he twirled me and started dancing more aggressively I was fighting to keep up.

My lip was starting to bleed as I bit it hard to stop myself from crying. I heard words like "who knew that the princess was a flirt" or "I wonder if her husband would approve" . I realized why he had done what he did he wanted to put me to shame. Luckily when I turned my head I saw my guard and called out for him

He pushed through the crowd and pulled me from the man, some how he managed to hold himself. "that was such an honor your highness , I hope we'll dance more in the future" he said highness with a spiteful hiss. My legs felt like jelly and was face flushed , I probably looked like a fool

"carry me I'm too weak to walk" my guard carried me away from the scene I'm pretty sure that we left that man grinning

I had almost died a ridiculous death. Now I was resting under a tree , still in school waiting for my after school teacher. "your Highness may I raise an inquiry " I waved my hand "why weren't you able to stop dancing?" I turned my head in shock

"well that was fairy music, mortals are the only ones who can't stop dancing , in fact they dance till they dead" I digested this new information "I don't know" "hmm maybe he might have used a cursed item" he offered

Before I could reply a short green ,hunched back lady appeared. "you must be the princess , apologies for the lateness I had something urgent to attend " I nodded "you have two subjects , one known as social studies. There I will be teaching you how we live and status study. I will be teaching of royalty and politics" I nodded again "now let's start with the basics"

It was a bit tricky to concentrate with what had just happened still occupying my thoughts but I did my best .

" now there are three divisions , the faefolk, fae or fairy and mortals. You fall underneath fairy. The differences between them is that fairies have wings , their bodies are warm and they are good. Faes however don't have wings, they are cold to touch and they aren't good. Going further we have two kingdoms ;the day and night. The kingdom of the sun is ruled by fairy and the night is ruled by fae. Going even further we have courts. The court of spring , winter, autumn and summer . Each of these courts have their own elements that they control since magic is nor longer existing. The Spring- nature ;the winter-frost; the summer-fire and the autumn- wind. The kingdom of the sun are made up of the summer and spring court while the kingdom of the night are made up of the winter and autumn court. There is one court that separates the two kingdoms and is independent, the sea court which of course its element is water. Now any questions" I scribbled down a few more notes

"note that this information is slightly outdated. But you need to know the history in order to understand current affairs"

"what's the name of the leader or the sea court?" I questioned "Prince Darius the flightless" so that's the name of my nightmare "why is he called flightless?" "because during the small war where you tried to claim the sea court under the fairy kingdom you cut off his wings , giving him the title the flightless" wait I did that , I thought. Is that why he assualts me, I wandered."what happened to the magic?"

"there is so much to cover but I think that's enough for today , you still have a task from Harry to finish. Farewell your highness" the lady bowed down and disappeared into the night. Around me the fireflies that were a source of light started to dim so I started heading back home. Surprisingly I could see clearly as though it were day time. "how is it possible that I can see ?" I asked my guard "remember you aren't mortal" he smiled

Aldric welcomed me with open arms by the gate and I was thrilled. He kissed my head lightly and whispered "how was your first lessons" I frowned recalling the incident "that guy I told you who tried to drown me" Aldric frowned as well"yes" "he tried to make me dance till I die and he humiliated me in front of everyone" Aldric hugged me tightly for comfort "I couldn't find him today" said Aldric "its okay I found out that his called Darius the flightless" Aldric's face froze before he shook his head. He traced my lips with his thumb and looked into my eyes with a thirst " let me take you away from here" I felt my own heart blush "but I have homework" he chuckled "I promise that it won't be long " I nodded

He lifted me up like a bribe and carried me to his horse and we started riding away. I must be getting ahead of myself because its only been a while though I feel a sort of attraction towards Aldric yet I know nothing about him except how he treated me with such care and love.
