"Anya!" Yor called out from the kitchen, "Sweetheart! Your alarm's been going off for ten minutes!!" The ravenette looked to her husband, her face a bit worried. "Could you wake her up for me, Loid?"

Loid looked up from his newspaper to his wife, a smile on his lips as he said, "Sure thing, Yor." His sweet smile turned to a small smirk as he joked, "I swear, that girl could sleep through an earthquake..." Yor couldn't help but giggle from the (probably true) joke.

Loid smiled at the sight of his wife laughing, which was probably the only thing he'd be happy about this morning since Yor insisted on cooking breakfast for them-he's had food poisoning way too many times over the past ten years.

*Knock Knock Knock*

"Ugh..." Anya complained as she heard her father call out to her, "Anya! It's time to wake up." He politely spoke, but to Anya's very tired brain, it sounded like the most outrageous and rude thing he could ever say. And once he knocked again, Anya wanted to simply go back to sleep and ignore her papa, but unfortunately, he raised her better than that.

"Okay!... Okay..." The pinkette grumbled out, forcing herself to sit up. Anya stumbled over to her door, yawning, but once she opened her bedroom door, her mouth immediately snapped shut.

She could recognize that smell from anywhere: her mom was cooking.

Anya looked over to her dad who was standing by the door, her eyes wide, he just sighed and nodded, knowing that look was asking, 'Is mama seriously cooking?'-it seemed after all these years she would've gotten better, but nope, all she could cook was her western stew. It also seemed like her parents would show any signs of aging after all those years, and yet, they looked the exact same!

She used to think maybe they kept their youth from all that killing they do, but she decided that was ridiculous as she got older. (Even though she still considered it a possibility from time to time.)

Loid crossed his arms as he smiled at his daughter, "Go ahead and get changed," He brought his hand over her ear to cup it as he whispered to her very quietly, "If you take long enough, I can just send you off with a snack."

Anya couldn't help but giggle as he backed off, giving her a semi-worried grin. «I still have to eat Yor's food... but at least I can save Anya from food poisoning!» He thought, making Anya giggle even more. She gave her dad's cheek a kiss as she whispered, "Thanks papa!" Before going back into her room. Loid just sighed happily, how did he get so lucky? If he knew operation strix would've ended like this, he would've recommended they've done something about Donovan himself!

After Anya closed her door while Loid walked towards the kitchen-his stomach turning at the growing smell, but he chose to ignore it-smiling at the ravenette cooking; he walked up behind her, wrapping his arms around her waist as he put his chin on Yor's shoulder.

"What's this about?" Yor asked chipperly-she used to freak out when Loid would do something like this and kick him into the living room, but after a bit of practice, (and house repairs,) she got used to it.

Loid smiled, swaying back and forth with her in his arms, "I just love you is all."

Anya happily stepped out of her school bus, a big smile on her face. She could tell that today was going to be an amazing day, because she had escaped death! (Her mother's cooking,) which meant that she could do anything!
