I looked up at him his eyes were already on me and then he did a thing I did not expect him to do at all...

Ares's hands gripped my face ever so roughly as he slammed his lips against mine, causing a small gasp to escape my throat. Ares pulled me closer while his hands gripped my waist as he continued our hungry kiss before he released me, leaving me gasping for air. My cheeks were rosy as I looked at him in shock, his hand rested on my lower back as he guided us through the mansion but her mind couldn't stop replaying their kiss over and over again. My cheeks were still rosy as we joined my parents back in the dining room my father was scanning his newspaper my mother was fiddling with her nails as her gaze remained on the floor my father's head shot up when he heard our footsteps reenter the room

"Mr. De Luca, I apologize for my wife" He apologized I looked towards my mother who seemed to not want to meet my gaze. I turned to Ares as he spoke to Father his eyes met mine.

"We are leaving shortly" He spoke before turning back to Father.

I nodded as I stepped away from them and walked over to my mother taking a seat beside her her eyes met mine as she gave me a small smile.

Ares watched as she sat down beside Aurélie a concerned look crossed her features as she talked with her mother Gabriel rambled on about business Ares glanced down at his watch before speaking loud enough for Adrienne to hear.

"We must be off now, we some last-minute things we must do" with hearing that Adrienne whispered to her mother before hugging and kissing her on the cheek before she walked over to Ares not looking at her father

"No goodbye for me?" Gabriel jokingly asked she looked at him before walking away Ares smirked before bidding his goodbyes and following after her as she waited patiently by the car rolling her ring around her finger. She must've heard the gravel crunching under his shoe as she looked up at me before she muttered

"Can you unlock the car" He smirked

"No please?" she glared at him before he chuckled and unlocked the car watching as she slid into it.

Ares watched her out of the corner of his eye tapping her phone aggressively letting out a huff she placed it on her lap before turning to look out a window, the car remained silent until they passed the row of trees leading into the house.

"Valentina told me that you had dogs what kind are they?"Her soft voice passed through the car.

"Zeus and Eros are both Dobermans, they are currently in Italy" Ares responded he watched as a smile spread across her face.

Once we had pulled into the drive I automatically walked up towards my room closing my door I let out a sigh of relief before walking into my closet and getting changed in some pjs and then taking a seat beside my window thinking about what my life has came too, I was getting married in two days I had always dreamed of finding my dream guy who didn't care what my families lifestyle was and to live happily ever after but for someone like me we are never destined to get it I was so happy when I first met Liam him and I hit it off we became instant friends he was their when I needed him he was there for me during my nightmares and helped me through it all but seemed to loath when I started going on dates I assumed it was because he liked me but it seemed more than that I have wondered what content would he go to have me?
