Chapter 19: God, we got a problem.

Ash was not in a good mood. As soon as he woke up, Arecus told him that the johto legendaries were under attack. How they were found I don't know, but it happened. Those three dogs (cats?) were so elusive.

Right now, Ash was on his bird heading to Johto, along with Riley and Sabrina. Arecus gave them the location of the legendaries, and Ash was furious. He hated those ones. He hated that entire region. Johto was known for being skeptical, and aura guardians and psychics were not liked there. Well not liked anywhere.  The entire world, minus Sinnoh and Ahola, either didn't care or didn't know.  

His bird was strong, but carrying three people for 100,000 miles was difficult, even for an Ash Pokémon. Yet the bird did it and showed almost no fatigue. However, Ash saw the mainland, so helped his pokemon from some of the pain.

The mute trainer jumped off a Pidegot, 10,000 feet in the air, into the ocean.

 Sabrina and Riley screamed, but Pidgeot just kept flying, knowing her master knew what he was doing. In fact, Ash knew exactly what he was doing. He teleported to the home of the beast; a forest surrounded by mist. However, there were about 50 grunts, and Giovanni battling the legendaries.

Ash knew they were strong, but Giovanni was using the three birds, so it wasn't gonna be a fair fight. Ash threw out his Charizard and Sceptile. Greninja was in the shadows, waiting till it was necessary to help.

Ash: 2 objectives. End the grunts and their leader in any way. 2, protect the legendaries.  Legendary's first.  

In response, Charziard blew a blue flame thrower, scorching the grunts' Pokémon and wounding Articuno.

Giovanni: You again? No matter. Zapdos, Moltress, finish them.

Ash looked at the birds and they looked pretty sad. But they had to follow their trainers orders. A thunderbolt and ice beam were fired right at Ash, but he brought up a shield. The moves had zero effect. While Ash was handling the two birds, along with his Greninja, his other two aces were beating up Articuno and saving the legendaries.

Charziad was battling Articuno, and Sceptile was defending the legendaries. Aritcuno kept firing ice beams at Charizard, but the beast simply lept to the side, and scorched it. Sceptile kept leaping from tree to tree, taking out the grunts, and occasionally protecting the legendaries if necessary.

Unluckily for Giovanni, back up had arrived. Sabrina's Alakazam and Riley's Lucario both joined the battle. The two heroes helped Ash with his legendary problem. But no help was needed. After Ash was beaten up a little, Greninja decided to make his presence known.

A giant water vortex appeared, and inside of it was a Greninja with two swords and a shuriken. It started raining. Zapdos fired a thunder, however Greninja used his sword as a conductor and the sword became lightning. He threw it at Moltres, who screamed from the quad effective damage.

Moltress fled from the frog, and started battling Sceptile. Sceptile didn't care and 1v1 and fire/flying legendary. And was winning. Moltress had powerful attacks, however Sceptile was faster. The fire moves never hit, and Sceptile kept hitting the bird with dual chops.

Artucno wasn't in a better situation. Charizard had set up a sunny day, which made Articuno roasted alive. The black lizard kept firing flamethrower after flamethrower. Articuno could dodge, but never have room for a counter attack.

Zapdoes was getting his behind kicked by the frog. Greninja kept using Zapdos moves against him. When Zapdoes fired a air slash, Greninja used the water particles to move it aside and hit his opponent.
