100 Awesome Names for a Heroine and Hero! Pt. 1
× × ×

These days, stories all have the same names. Particularly for the Heroines. Literally I read three different stories HERE ON WATTPAD, and the female lead (or her best friends) name was either Violet, or Willow. And sometimes it was both.

Both are elegant names, but here I'll give you some names to add pizazz and life to your fictional characters!

50 Names for a Heroine!

1. Constantine

An elegant name with an almost ancient Roman or Greek feel to it. It's actual Latin, and means steadfast, and constant.

-

2. August

I don't know if it's just me, but August sounds beautiful; even if it's a predominantly male name. Nick names could be very cute like, Auggie.

-

3. Clementine

So adorable! It reminds me a little of the young girl on Caillou.

-

4. Winnie

Another old fashioned name that screams cute overload. Recommended for a shy heroine.

-

5. Charm

There's something almost lonely and sad about a name with such a pure meaning. Or perhaps it's just the songs that I'm listening too. Either way, Charm is gorgeous.

She sounds like a naughty lead.

-

6. Frost (Frostine could also be used)

Frost sounds so boyish, but has a girlish charm that only your heroine could rock!

-

7. Ottilie

A cute name, although it has a bit of a twang to it.

I would recommend for a country side heroine.

-

8. Reverie

An odd name that seems to work for a contemporary romance hero as well. 10/10 would use.

-

9. Elfi

Something for a quirky and strange heroine with a knack for causing trouble. It sounds sweet, and bold.

-

10. Pepper

For a steamy, temperamental heroine who likes to bash skulls in while on break.

Stylish and sassy, I like it!

-

11. Six

Imagine having a Heroine whose name is a number? Truly an oddity, and would give life to your story.

Who wants all their female characters names to be Jessica? Phooey!

-

12. Isis

I know what you're think, and shut the flip flop up before you say a thing. No, Isis does not mean "terrorist group."
