One would wonder why the Koreans love to pick their noses into Sun Yang's case. It was interesting, because of all potential threats in the world–from Osama to the Taliban to North Korea, or more specifically, the Kim family, none of them were as comparable to the attention received by all intelligence agencies in Korea including the military over the case of one Chinese man. To the Koreans, Sun Yang became the most dangerous man above Kim Jong Un–in fact, way worse.
As Sun Yang's wings spread all over the Northeastern region in Asia, the Koreans became way much wary about Sun Yang's next plan. Sun Yang had a great deal of links with the rest of the underworld lords, and even with some politicians too. His business ran almost everywhere, and where there's business, there were attacks. The first one that hit South Korea, albeit a small scale, was a hostage crisis at Namsan Tower. Although it ended with the successful rescue of all twenty hostages, it marked the beginning of the involvement of Sun Yang in terror tactics. His ambitions turned into greed, and with greed came the thirst for blood.
The second was the destruction of a Korean corvette near the disputed Northern Limit Line, killing all servicemen on board. Although the blame technically went to the North Koreans, upon deeper investigation, the NIS were able to dig out some vital information about Sun Yang's involvement in the sinking of the ship. It seemed that a North Korean admiral became greedy, and executed the order to shoot down the corvette using a submarine in exchange for more cash in his safe. The admiral was dealt with by Kim himself, but no sincere apology was expressed.
These two acts within the span of just five months prompted the Korean Government to device a plan to remove Sun Yang from the face of the earth once and for all. During that time of planning, similar things began to unravel in China, where a nuclear powerplant in Shanghai became a target for pro-independence movements which resulted in fifteen people killed although no massive damages were recorded. Not long after that, one of the ministers in the government was mysteriously poisoned. A week after that incident, a major clash erupted between Islamic separatists in Xinjiang Province and government forces.
These correlated events taught them that it was imperative for China and South Korea to eliminate the threat from the region. Sun Yang had a bigger goal now–to destabilise world order by using random yet strategic assaults. His manipulation skills and the perfect use of money were making him stronger. For that, the Chinese and the Koreans decided to work together in a joint operation called Operation Yellow Sea–the operation to take down Sun Yang.
It was five years ago when the mission happened.
