Chapter 10

Raven's POV

Kiera and i pulled into the driveway and unloaded our bags from the car talking all the way to my room, I welcomed her in and i stared at my bed in confusion. There was rose petals scattered over the bed in a pattern and in the middle of it was a red and white rose bouquet with a note taped to it. I looked at Kiera and she just shurgged so i dropped the bags and walked over and unfolded the note

Dear Raven,

I hope your doctor's appointment went well and your shopping trip with Kiera. So since you have been here a few days now i was hoping you would like to go on a date with me. Hoping you would say yes i have it all planned out, so when you get dressed for it just dress casual and something comfortable to walk in. Jace

I turned to Kiera 

"Did you know about this?"

"Nope all i knew was he mind-linked me this morning to take you shopping for clothes, now we have to get you ready for the date, how well can you walk in a skirt?"

A half a hour later i am in a black skirt that went mid thigh with a light green blouse and a pair of black flats, Kiera curled my hair in loose curls and did my make-up simple.She walked me to the back door and covered the scar on my forehead with hair and then she pointed the direction i was supposed to meet Jace. 

After a little while of walking i walk through some bushes and find myself in a little clearing that had a small pond with lily pads and little fish swimming around. After watching the fish for a second i looked around and saw a little picnic set up under a tree with Jace leaning against it. His hair was covering his eyes and he was snoring a little i smiled and walked closer. I sat on my knees and nudged him

"Jace wake up"

"Five more minutes"

"Jace we are suppose to be on a date not sleeping"

He opened one eye and i smiled at him

"Hello sleepy head"

"When did you get here?"

"A few minutes ago"

"Damn i didnt mean to fall asleep"

"Its ok"

He patted the spot next to him so i moved over and sat next to him

"You look good"

"Thanks Kiera helped me"

"So did you guys get along well?"

"Yeah we have a lot of things in commen like how we both have annoying older brothers"

He smiled at me and i smiled back

"So how was the doctor's appoint?"

"Good i she gave me these pills to take when we have to seperate i guess to kill the pain and i got my stiches removed"

"Did they leave scars?"

"Yeah the ones on my stomach are probably the worst one's but the one on my forehead isnt any better"

I lifted my hair and showed him, he put his hand on my cheek and traced the scar with hsi thumb. Little shock's were shooting through my body wherever his thumb traced it was making my wolf go crazy, I thought he was going to lean in to kiss me but he pulled back. 

'Why wont he kiss us?'

'How the hell am i suppose to know Sadie?'

'Maybe because your the only one who has gotten to talk to him' 

'Shut up'

I blocked her out and Jace was looking at me with a worry look on his face

"I'm fine my wolf was talking to me"

He nodded his head "So have you taken any of the pill's yet"

"Yeah when we were out shopping it came so i took a pill and it helped a little bit the pain was bearable but wasnt exactly gone"

"Ok i felt bad about not going with you"

"You shouldnt i was fine and i got to know your sister a little more"

"What exactly did you girl's talk about"

"Oh you know girl stuff"

"I see so since we dont know a whole bunch about eachother how about we play 20 questions"

"Ok seems fun"

"Alright what's your favorite color?"

"Red whats your's?"

"Green"

That went back and forth for a while before we laid down on the blanket and stared up at the stars. I dont know how long we did but we both ended up falling asleep.

Hey guys this is again another late update and i apologize i have been super busy over the last few days with babysitting my cousins. So when i put them to bed i started working on this and i didnt stop till i finished. I hope you guys liked it and i will update asap. Bye
