Chapter 29

(Raven's POV)

I woke up in the pack hospital, I looked around and saw Jace's mom, my mom, Torey and Aunt Haley 

"What happened?"

All their heads whipped to me and my mom walked over "We are not quite sure yet but we think Jace may be in trouble, you had bruises all over your stomach and Jace hasnt came home his sister said he went to go to the bathroom but he didnt come back"

My heart shattered and my wolf whimpered, my mom's face fell when she saw how it affected me "Honey we are trying everything, Uncle Colt, ours and Jaces pack are out looking for clues we think its the rouges that are after you"

I nodded not wanting to talk and she kissed my forhead, the pack doctor came in and when he saw me awake he gave a small smile

"Its good to see you awake Raven you are free to go back home but if it is because of Jace its gonna happen again"

The door slammed open and Mel ran in and ran over to me "Holy hell Raven I came as fast as I could"

Everyone stared at her and she frowned "What are you staring at I missed my best friend"

Everyone smiles and shakes their head

"As I was saying Raven I think you should stay in the pack house so I can keep a close eye on you because the more Jace's wounds get worse the more you get hurt"

"She can stay with me I have the closet room to this hall"

He nods and comes over to me "I want to check the bruises real quick"

I nodded and lifted my shirt and saw bruises covering my torso some darker than others and my wolf whimpered even more and it looked like there were burns to. He nodded and looked at me

"Your good to go just dont do much"

I nodded and he left and Mel looked at me "Lets go we can go and watch movies and eat ice cream"

I smile and stand up slowly "Bye mom see you later"

We walk out of the room and head to Mel's bedroom.

(Jaces POV)

I hung my head and tried to ignore the pain, the guy left a little while ago and I was left alone in my thoughts and they wavered to Raven. I shook my head and my wolf kept pacing

Would you quit pacing

No Im worried about Raven when they found out we're gone they are going to come and find us and Raven is going to come and they are going to hurt her

Her dad and my dad wont let her come if it involves her life

You dont know that 

I do know that and Raven isnt that stupid 

He growled at me and I rolled my eyes and the door open and the guy walked in, he smirked at me and I glared back at him. 

"Ready to give in yet Jace"

"Nope"

"OK suit yourself"
