"Jungkook needs a place to stay tonight," I confess.

My dad looks like he's about to faint.

"We already have a guest over," My mom gestures to Taehyung. "Besides, why can't Jungkook stay at his own house?"

"Insects are being fumed from his house," Taehyung wraps his arm around Jungkook. "And my bro has nowhere else to go."

"Of course...uh, bro," Jungkook uncomfortably says.

"YAY there'll be more people playing cards tonight and the teams will be even!" My little brother, Hyuck, cheers.

My parents agree to let Jungkook stay.

We eat at the dining table with my family.  There was one rule during dinner- no cell phones.

But me and Hyuck always had our own secret form of communication hidden from our parents- Post It notes.

It was pretty lame but it was a great way to have our own inside jokes.

I pass Jungkook a Post It and a pen.

Let's communicate this way.

He raises a brow but scribbles down something on the Post It and passes it to me.

Sure. What do you think about the food?

I write back and pass to him.

The stringbeans are delightful.

It took me so much of me not to laugh.

Jungkook grins and writes back:

I find you delightful.

My cheeks warmed up and I couldn't stop smiling.

My parents stared at us weirdly, but didn't say anything

We finally play cards with Taehyung and Hyuck.

"He keeps cheating!" Taehyung exclaims at the end of the fifth round.

"I'm only 9 years old," Hyuck pouts.

"This 9 year old keeps cheating!" Taehyung grips his hair in frustration.

"Cheaters are winners in their own right," Jungkook shrugs.

"WHAT? You're defending this kid?"

But Jungkook wasn't even listening. He picked Hyuck up and spun him around like an airplane.

My parents went off to their night shifts and Hyuck went over to his friends' house for a sleepover.

It was just the 3 of us- me, Taehyung and Jungkook.

"I can sleep in the living room," Taehyung proposes.

"You could sleep in my room," I suggest.

"He says he can sleep there," Jungkook states, matter-of-factly.

"Just one final thing," Taehyung says.

He walks over closer and wraps his arms around me, enveloping me with his warmth. Jungkook grimaces.

"Good night Jungkook and Y/n," Taehyung quietly says, before heading off to the living room.

"Well that was weird." Jungkook crosses his arms.

"He gets awfully sentimental," I try to explain.

He shrugs, then we get ready for bed and go to my bedroom.
