Y/N POV

My room's cool breeze brushed my exposed legs as Eve's music was being played while I laid comfortably on my bed. I was still in my pjs since it was still early in the morning. I moved my thumbs on the sides of my phone screen as I was looking at the security room when suddenly I saw a familiar figure popped up from a vent from the room I was in.

"I knew it! You were the imposter!" I said loudly as I quickly managed to escape the room while the spiky red-haired boy who laid next to me on my bed started to let out a few curses. I managed to bump into a few crew members.

"That's not fair," Reki said as I managed to convince the other plays that my friend was the imposter. I couldn't help but sigh in victory as he got voted out and I didn't get killed by him.

"It is," I say as I looked over at the boy who turned off his phone with a frown.

It was currently around 6:40 am while we were stuck on my comfy bed. Reki had slept over at my house for the night like he would usually do sometimes. He had the nerve to wake me up early since he couldn't sleep anymore and decided to bug me so here we are playing Among Us.

"Yeah yeah whatever, I almost got you anyways" Reki mumbled in annoyance as he shifted on his side, turning his back away from me; as he had a gloomy aura.

"Oi~ it's okay, it's just a game" I cooed in a teasing manner as I placed my phone on my side as I swiftly got up to slightly hovering over the teen.

"No, it's not, it's a matter of life and death in that game. You always kill me or manage to escape" He said with a cute pout; making me chuckle.

I grabbed his shoulder to push it down so he would be laying down properly as I could see his gloomy face. His amber eyes looked up into mine making me feel warm inside as he let out a small smile. Thankfully I had my hair up so it wouldn't be bugging my face.

"Okay, I'll let you kill me next time then~," I say as he lifted up his hand to squish my cheek very tenderly.

"No, I want to be able to do that on my own. Heh, you have squishy cheeks like mochi~" He says with a small chuckle.

"I want mochi now," I say weirdly as he continued to squish my cheek as I talked. Owie.

"Maybe on our way back home, after school, we can. We should go meet up with Langa already so he can get his sticker" Reki says, while letting go of my cheek as he sat up properly.

I suddenly felt my cheeks warm up at the sudden proximity between us, our noses slightly touching as we both stared at each other with wide eyes. Suddenly something overcame us as we both relaxed in each other's closeness. I couldn't help but glance down at his delicate lips before looking up, which he had done the same for me. Is this really going to happen?

"Y/n! Reki! A friend of yours is waiting for the two of you downstairs!" The loud voice of my aunt yelled out as she barged into my room causing Reki and me to jump away from each other. Auntie, I don't know whether to be mad or relieved you came to interrupt this moment.

"Ah!" Reki let out a yelp as he had fallen off the bed, making the three of us stay in awkward silence. But I couldn't help myself let out a laugh at the way Reki fell. His face looked mortified.

"Did I just interrupt something?" My aunt said with a surprised look as Reki and I had flushed cheeks from the incident.

But seeing that mortified look on his face suddenly made me burst out laughing; my aunt chuckled before silently leaving us two alone again. I'm pretty sure she's been awake since 6am doing her usual workout routine.

"I'm sorry Reki! But the face you made as you feel was just PRICELESS" I said loudly which made my aunt laugh as well.

"Oi that's mean, you're not the one who fell" He grumbled as he grabbed a hold of my bed to stand up as I now tried to contain my laugh. "It's not funny, now hurry let's go Langa is waiting for us. Hurry up and go change"

"Okay, okay! You can go accompany Langa while I change" I say as he gave me a nod before leaving my room as I went straight to my drawer to wear some comfortable clothes. Holy wow, I still can't believe that happened! Were we about to...kiss?

It was now 7:35am, school starts at 8 so we have a bit of time to get to school. Where we were isn't to far from the school. Reki, Langa and I were in our school uniforms as we waited patiently on a bench. I still didn't like the burgundy uniforms us girls have to wear for our school.

"Sticker?" Langa says in confusion as Reki and I were explaining some things about the race.

"Yeah, first-timers can't get in without it. 'S' is a top-secret race that you can't ever talk about" Reki explains to the blue-haired teen as I was lowly listening to Eve's Smile album , with my earphones while leaning on Reki's shoulder.

We were currently waiting for one of the skaters and dealers to come by. Reki's eyes were glued on his phone as he waited for a message to pop up from the dealer. I looked by my side and recognized the man who wore a white hoodie and had his hood cover his face while he wore purple glasses to somewhat conceal his identity from others. I got off Reki's shoulder and pretended to stretch my arms out until I felt a thin metal pin on my hand.

"This is yours," I say with a small smile as I handed it to Langa; while at the same time we got up to start heading out. "As Reki said earlier, normally, outsiders aren't allowed to come in"

"Oh" Was all the blue teen muttered.

"You should be more stoked than that! You'll be able to see something amazing, okay?!"Reki said in disbelief which made me chuckle as Langa looks over at me with a deadpan look. "I'm sure you'll be surprised! Got that? C'mon!"

"Reki, leave the poor boy alone, remember when I got my sticker I was not so excited like you" I reminded as I placed my hand back.

"Yeah, but you had some nice reaction and Langa here was just plain about this! C'mon Langa show some excitement!" Reki exclaimed as he chases the silent boy making me chuckle.

As the day went by Reki has spent the majority of the day talking everything about skating to mainly Langa who was pretty much bored the whole time. Whenever Reki gets passionate about talking about skating, he does not stop. Langa and I would silently play Among Us during the breaks from school while Reki kept rambling on.

Langa is no joke when comes to playing, whenever he's the imposter, he seems to leave me be. I'm pretty sure if it was Reki, he would have wanted to kill me first or try to at least. As the afternoon came by the three of us hung out and worked. I couldn't help but feel at peace with Reki and Langa, my life would probably still be pretty plain without them.
