Next morning I woke up with a big smile on my face. I mean how I could not; I got finally marked by my mate.

Now I can know what he is feeling every time. So let's see what he is feeling now.

I concentrated but the weird thing is I can't sense anything, it is completely blank. How is that possible?

I can get the answers only from him, so I got ready and went down towards our kitchen where he is already there drinking coffee.

"Good morning." I wished.

"Good morning."

I prepared our breakfast and we both started eating. I am totally confused. I thought after getting marked, I can understand him and get connected to him. But now it seems like a big task.

"Why are you feeling confused?" He asked suddenly.

"How do you know?" I asked without replying to his question.

"Because of my mark, but tell me why?"

"That's the problem. Now you know what I am feeling and everything but I am unable to know. Why?" I said.

"That is because I blocked you. I always want my privacy." He said.

I am little hurt, he want privacy then so do I.

"Ok, tell me how I can block you."

"That you can't because I want to know everything so that I can sense when you are in danger so I can save you. So you blocking me is out of the question."

"Then I too want to know everything about you and I want to even know whenever you are in danger." I said looking straight into his eyes.

"You don't have to because I am an Alpha. I can take care of myself." He said looking at me.

"And I am one Alpha's Daughter and another Alpha's Mate. So I can also take care of myself."

We both spent few minutes staring at each other and no one is ready to back down.

Finally he sighed and said "Ok. I will tell you, but not now."

"Yes thank you." I said excitingly and went near him to hug him suddenly.

He stood stun for few seconds but hugged me. Then the weird feelings started. After leaving him when I looked at him, I can tell that we were both feeling the same.

The pull is now uncontrollable between us as he marked me. We both slowly closed our distance and in no time we were making out.

We released each other when we both became breathless.

"I have some work in pack house as I am going to announce you as Alpha female at end of this week. And Jack is going to come in few hours. You remember right he is going to be your protector." He said.

I nodded as I am in no position to even utter a single word, I don't know how he is even talking that too so much.

After he left, I let myself consumed by my thoughts about everything now happening in my life.

The knock at the door pulled me out of my thoughts. I reached there and when I opened the door there stood a person who can be easily compared by a statue.

He is good looking but as I told earlier he is a statue.

"Good morning Luna. I am Jack, Third in command and your protector." He said like I am some military campaign head officer.

"Good morning Jack. I am Amelia. You can call me that or Meli but not Luna ok. Now come in."

He followed me and just took a standing position even though I offered him a seat.
