War Against Myself

War against myself,

What else is there left?

A fight left open,

No one entered but myself,

A problem not worth fixing,

To leave it all to myself,

Fall from the ashes,

Dance in the fire,

Losing against myself,

Fighting problems that don't need fixing,

Not accepting them,

Giving in to them,

Letting the lies sink in,

Why can't you see?

I'm at a war against myself,

For once could I fight anybody but myself?

Give me a war,

I'll take my aim,

I'll show you the pain,

I'll just let it rain,

Probably not the best idea,

But what is there left?

When the world's gone mad,

The people in it destroy everything they touch,

Destroying souls and lives,

Destroying the thought of living,

And you wonder why there are so many suicides?

A world that crumbles to pieces,

The bad spreads,

But what are we suppose to do?

I'll tell you,

You get your gun,

You lock an load,

And be ready to aim,

Cause I won't lose this war against myself,

The world turns against me,

But will we fall?

Will we fail to win this mental war against ourselves?

We're in this together,

Instead of fighting each other,

We should win together,

Show this world what we're made of,

Ready, set, aim.

Are you ready for what's coming?

Will you give in to their conceted way?

To their constant vicious threats?

Will you let the world win this mental war?

When they fire at you,

Letting it sink into your skin,

Feeling caged in to their ways,

Will you break free?

Will you fire?
