the girls ran off the stage towards flynn, who was beaming "you guys were incredible" she said

the guys poofed in behind her "heck yeah we were" reggie grinned "and come on meels that was incredible, you are insanely talented"

"hell yeah you are! i didn't expect that lia" luke grinned

"my bestie do be talented though" alex commented

amelia was blushing at their words, but burst into laughter hearing alex use her slang.

luke looked up and nudged amelia's shoulder "hey, whoever carrie was trying to impress is coming this way!"

"she looks all business"

"wait who should do the talking?" reggie asked, the guys sent him a look, while amelia pointed to julie

julie looked up at luke nervously "you got this" he said

"hi, i'm andi parker, and i would-"

"julie"

the girls head whipped to behind andi, julies dad was stood with his arms crossed, while lillie was stood beside him, her eyebrows raised. "oh shit i forgot about her"

"dad!"

"it's time to go" ray said sternly "amelia you're mom is waiting for you by your car"

"wait what did i do?" she asked "oh wait i may have forgot to mention the whole missing the first three classes"

"yeah, and you have some explaining to do to me little missy" lillie told her

ray walked away with julie, who leant over to whisper to amelia "take her to the studio and we can explain"

"okay auntie lillie, i know it's absurd, but i can explain, if you can help me convince mom that i won't do it again i swear julie and i will explain" amelia rambled

lillie sighed but nodded her head "fine, but if you do miss class again, i won't be able to help you"

amelia turned her head to the ghosts and whispered "meet at the studio" they nodded and poofed away

lillie and amelia walked outside to see emily leant against amelia's car. "mom-"

"why didn't you tell me?"

"we both know what today is, and i didn't want to make you any more upset then you already were" amelia explained "and i swear i didn't miss any important"

"ray said that julie missed a calculus test" emily said pointedly

amelia shook her head "i swear i didn't, i'm not in most of julies classes" she said "mom, i just overslept, the dance was an emotional rollercoaster and i was so tired so flynn didn't wake me"

"okay, but you know school comes first, if you start letting your grades slip i will pull you out the music program" emily told her softly but sternly

"i know mama, i promise, but i think i've finally found my thing, i went out on that stage with julie and we owned it" amelia explained
