Can I tell you that bullshit where people say it'll be okay,

That you'll be fine,

The pain will go away?

Can I tell you to stop worrying and wondering,

But you know the truth,

The storm inside still thundering,

It gets louder and louder every night,

You shudder in the rain,

Cold with fright,

The storm rages on like it's having fun,

Too much and too twisted,

The hell already begun,

You never knew so much pain ever existed,

Can I hold your hand in the gayest way,

Can I tell you as a best friend,

That it'll be okay,

But you know the truth,

You don't believe me,

I try and hold onto you,

But I know your gonna leave me,

In the end it doesn't even matter,

If you hear what I tell you,

Listen to my crap,

Realize its true,

Maybe you'll survive another day,

Maybe I can see a real smile,

Know that what I said,

Was actually worth your while,

Maybe I'll see you happy,

You see the sun behind the clouds,

You know that asking for what you want,

Is like being at someone's concert in the crowds,

The singer probably won't see you,

But it'll be okay,

I say it again,

The pain will go away,

Just take my hand and it'll all disappear.
