Letting You Go

Thump goes my heart,

My breathing slows,

Your ripping me apart,

This heartache only grows,

Why,

I keep asking,

Why,

Why the fuck did you lie,

Why did you leave me high and dry,

Why give me hope and shut me down,

You took away the dark of my ocean,

Just so I wouldn't drown,

But it's like you wanted this to happen to me,

Just so you could see,

If I let this curse free,

You vanished within the air,

My heart cracked open,

It's like it's bloodied and bare,

My anger spiraling out of control,

Goddamn it I said beware!

You don't just do that,

You can't just open me up,

You can't just leave the one you love,

My heart and damn soul,

I gave you all of,

You don't just say your there,

Then leave me yet again,

You triggered another nightmare,

A nightmare that's called my life,

So much in my head now,

I wanna end it all with my favorite little knife,

Hands at my head,

Bed's at my side,

Screaming without words,

Closing my eyes,

Trying so hard forgetting you so..

I'm letting you go.
