y/n doesn't say anything to shouta as she watches him shyly greet her. without any signs of hesitation, she turns away from him, pretending he isn't there. "wait, l/n," shouta says, walking next to her. "this is about my sister."
"sister?" y/n repeats, looking at him with a confused face.
shouta looks at y/n, nodding and stepping aside to reveal shouta's sister, hina. she stares directly at y/n, giving her eyes that scream of desperation and struggle. all y/n could think about is how this fifteen year old girl is better than her.
"l/n-senpai," hina says, bowing down and making a huge scene. "please coach me!" she shouts, making y/n flinch from the sudden raise in her voice.
everyone in the lunch area turns to her them, whispering and definitely talking about how inarizaki's new rising star is asking for inarizaki's best swimmer for help. y/n stutters over her words, until hina shouts once more.
"you're the reason why i swim. that day i saw you in elementary school, i knew i wanted to be just as amazing as you are. please teach me!" hina shouts, making y/n jump a little.
