𝐑𝐔𝐄𝐖𝐀𝐒𝐀𝐓𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐊𝐈𝐓𝐂𝐇𝐄𝐍island, writing a song. she had been watching her father try to cook a chicken with a pressure cooker for the past twenty minutes and she found it hilarious. she had been telling him to call her mother, but he simply ignored her.
she put her pen down, watching as her father took the top off and looked inside, ricky walking into the kitchen.
"i'm doing something wrong." the oldest bowen said to his kids.
"i mean, you're cooking, so. . ." ricky said, walking to the fridge.
"this chicken's been in here for ten minutes." mike had said, bending down to look at all of the settings on the cooking device. "it's colder than when i put it in."
"call mom." ricky suggested.
"that's what i've been telling him." rue said, picking up her pen to go back to her song.
"how is that possible? did i hit a freeze dry button?" their father asked, still looking at all of the buttons.
