𝐑𝐄𝐌𝐘 𝐇𝐀𝐃 𝐖𝐀𝐋𝐊𝐄𝐃 𝐎𝐔𝐓 𝐎𝐅 the barn, having seen ej and val talking once again. he was gonna go talk to rue, but he knew that she wanted some time to herself. so instead, he was leaning against a tree, watching some of the campers throw a frisbee around. he didn't know why this whole thing with val was bothering him. he didn't even know if this is how he should be feeling. he had never been in a relationship before, and like gina, this was gonna be his summer of firsts. he was pulled out of his thoughts when he felt a hand on his arm, the washington boy turning to look at who it was. when he realized that it was ej, he pulled away, leaning up off the tree.
ej furrowed his eyebrows slightly. "okay. i know this whole situation with channing and corbin is very upsetting, but are you mad at me about something?"
"and what if i was?" remy challenged, eyebrows raised as he turned to look back onto the field.
"is that a threat?" ej asked, not receiving an answer. "hey, i know today's a little weird. but i promise i'll have time to hang once this whole corbin thing gets sorted out."
"will you?" remy shot back, looking up at ej with furrowed eyebrows. "cause i kind of feel like we're having totally different summers."
"i know. but tomorrow's gonna be better. i promise, okay?" ej said, his voice gentle as he looked back down at remy.
